I happen to like the word truncheon. :P Much more deep and satisfying than a puny little baton, that's for sure. And if you ever forget one of my VMs again I'll damn well SHOW you how deep and satisfying I find them, so I will. >:) iz kidding obvs
'They're so beautiful and stylish and fast and wonderful' - beautiful, perhaps, although if it's designery-ness you're after, PCs actually give you multiple case options - which I'd argue transfers freedom to the consumer and so is far more efficient at increasing consumer satisfaction. Stylish... only if you're so painfully avant-garde that you'd tie your legs behind your head if someone told you it was the in thing (which, coincidentally, is how using a Mac feels to anyone unused to Apple's... unique brand of intuitive). Fast - modern Macs, yes, but that's defeated on several levels by the fact that a PC at the exact same price point will utterly and embarrassingly smoke a Mac in all arenas, and that older Macs are just as slow if not worse than their PC equivalents. 'Wonderful' - you know, I'm not even gonna bother with that. ;) Here's some advice - sell your Mac to a oldie who doesn't know how superior PCs are and buy an Alienware machine. You'll never look back.
And just because I can't resist... 'you like doing everything the hard way clearly!' Nah, it's just that you can do more on a PC, but that naturally leads to having to learn more skills. I reckon it's a fair trade-off. :) Plus I prefer Mitchell over Webb any day.
