As far as my knowledge goes, more scripts and plug-ins are actively being made by fans. The developers have moved on to MV.

Even if you weren't making a Pokemon game, from a coding standpoint of actual development, you need an IDE to mess around with the engine. It's really unattractive to me when the programming language switches over to JavaScript and accessing means to view the engine and tweak becomes a hurdle.

MV does look appealing on a service level, but most of things they offer are already plugins for both XP and VX Ace. Hell, Visual Battles does so much more than sideview battles and it was made as a plug-in-play script.

Graphics-wise, MV is better on that department, but it's nothing that a few scripts hasn't already done.

If you want MV and it looks appealing to you, I'd get it. But as someone who's fiddled around with the RPG Maker for a few years, it's not worth the 70 dollar price tag.

It's not worth it if you get MV. Do not get RPG Maker MV! I almost bought it until I realized they omitted the Script Editor and it's really slow. :/

That being said, if you want something easy to use that's compatible with the Pokemon Essentials engine, I would get RPG Maker XP. If you don't care for it and want something upgraded, then VX Ace is the way to go. :3

I just recently checked out your photos and they all look really nice. I was always a fan of nature photos. I didn't even know you were into photography like that. I'll make sure to read up on the MST. They're always pretty hilarious in my opinion. Sorry that I haven't communicated in the past few... days. A lot has happened. Nothing bad! I've actually been very happy.

The wonders of Serene Grace headflinches. :3 I'm not even sure what the hell Miltank does. All I know is that it's fat and it's proud to eat hits.

I find XY's problems to be rooted in how a foundation was destroyed in favor of increasing its target audience. It's like Game Freak is starting from Square One starting at Generation VI. They want everyone to remember Generation I so badly that they allowed you to have two sets of starters! Watch it. Generation II starters in Sun and Moon. Then when Generation X rolls around, we will FINALLY get Mega Unova Starters.

Two more... weeks.

You know, the funniest part is... those are the largest reasons why I don't like XY. It's mundane to the point of insulting to a person's average intelligence.

To be fair, Sycamore only has 60 or so species to work with in Kalos. XD

It is very weird. Asura's Wrath is my type of weird. So stupid in all the right ways, the narrative becomes a masterpiece. When you fight a boss on the moon while Symphony No. 9 blares in the background, you can assume that it's weird. XD

The movie? Is that a story? I don't understand.

Hey, I still find it fun. I think it's something you have to experience before making a judgement on it.

Diggersby and Trapinch are the only common Ground-types in XY. The other Ground types have a lower encounter rate.

A monotype run sounds fun. Just don't do Ground... or you're screwed. XD

Oh, you should see what the final boss is. It's all based on Hinduism. The game is so much fun! You'd be spared by just watching a playthrough of it.
