    Wouldn't it also make sense that since the Gems do not understand love (as shown with Lapis, Jasper, and Peridot Pre-Message Received) , the Diamonds also authorized experiments which would bring them closer to "understanding" and "utilizing" fusion in the way that Garnet exemplified? It would also make sense since this would spark the Kindergarten and the creation of Amethyst.

    Have you played Asura's Wrath? You'd love it. That guy is the first boss of the game.

    Do you think Fusion between different types of Gems are reserved for the upper class or royalty of the Diamonds? Technically, they are all Diamonds, so it wouldn't be that bad in the public eye. I think that since the technology is built on the Diamonds approval, maybe the Hand Ship is based on the Diamond fusion. They probably turn into a giant pale green Diamond that oversees planet like this guy from Asura's Wrath.

    For me to win, not only must Lapis be related to Blue Diamond, but the series must also end with either A) Steven married to Connie or B) The Crystal Gems leaving Earth/dying. Both of those conditions must be filled. So for you to win, neither or only one of those conditions happen. It's all in your favor, really. But I have faith!

    Don't get me wrong, I liked Barn Mates. I would be damned to say that the main focal points of the episode (Lapis and Peridot) were not both rude and annoying. I wanted to strangle Lapis this episode. Probably a good thing. Damn it, Rebecca.

    Oh no... not a Ruby... whatever will we do? God, Lapis was annoying in this episode. I actually felt really bad when she smashed her tape recorder that Steven gave her.

    I think Rebecca is setting up a tearful breakup at the end of the series. It would be weird for everything to be happy at the very end. I think they will win, but it's a little bittersweet.

    Steven is going to turn human... somehow, being able to grow normally like Connie wanted. Crystal Gems leave Earth. Distant future, Steven and Connie gets married.
