Actually, I have been conducting some "practice" recently, making a fanfic with Anime Characters telling Yo Mama jokes to each other on this game show.
However, NaNoWriMo has some interesting rules to it. They don't care how poorly written it is. They want you to forget all about editing and such because it's the word count that counts. Their Motto is, "No plot, no problem!" So, you can write the ending to it and come back to do the start while smacking out the 50,000 word count by November 30th.
My problem is, I HAVE to edit my stuff. And I get the bad writer's block too.
