I just wrote the image to the tiles which are shown on that part of the screen. It would be different to have it anywhere else. It's just a big tilemap (like when you edit the world map, or titlescreen) and I changed the tiles from being blank to being the image we need.

Its all scripting?!?!?!?! Wow! They are very good hackers. I knew you were Portuguese though. It says in your bio. I never hears of pokeforum-pt but its to bad they don't hack any more. I thought you were referring to WAH because I saw your account on it.

I don't have any problem with that, as I was exactly the opposite when I was improving my tile inserting skills; I believed all a good hack needed was awesome graphics, and I was proven right with Light Platinum :P
Ahaha, I'm just kidding, the scripting was great too there, but what it really lacked was a good translation and plot/storyline.

The fog is made using a BG-layer iirc. And not a OAM.

I'm guessing your referring to Wah! forums. I bet they ask you that because those hacks have some serious ASM!

That's what I think too, to be honest. But some people (like the famous hackers who made script-based hacks with Nintendo graphics) consider Scripting/ASMing the most important aspect of the hack.

Well the wild double battles are still a hacking breakthrough xD extending the possibilities of the ROM is one of the most exciting and important jobs, and you can't achieve that by spriting, mapping or tile inserting like I do, that's why I admire you!
And don't worry about exams, we all have that some time. :D I'm hoping of talking to you soon, to share some of my artwork ;)

I know you meant not relating to rom hacking. I am busy in real life too but I never feel like dealing with that stuff. I just want to sit down and Rom hack.
-I'll get back to Ray what minigames he wanted to do.

-I have heard the OWs are hard to achieve. Especially since all of our people OWs will be D/P/Pt style!

Thanks. I bet you are busy. I'm busy too but I try to push everything off to get this hack done. :P Music inserting would be great too. I there already is a couple things we would need ASM and just informational wise:
-Minigames
-Expanding the A-Map tilesets
-A little bit of help JPAN's engine.
-We plan on seeing if Jambo can help us out since he has achieved the follow me script if we can get it to alternate pokemon. We'll still need your help. That's a part of the JPAN engine help to add OWs and Palettes.
-Add lights to windows and street lights and night.
