Is it okay to trade pokémon? Like, I wanted to capture a Growlithe but some others also have one so I was thinking that now Clara has the pokédex entry and can trade it with some NPC for another pokémon found on this route.

Hai, I was wondering if it would be okay if Clara and her starter could communicate telepathically? I thought about making her psychic in other ways but decided it would be too idk weird. But there was a Gastly speaking in the anime and this one knows Psychic and the monks say Clara is "in tune" with the Ghost type so it wouldn't be too far-fetched :3 It would only be Gastly, no other pokémon... Until much later at least. What do you say?
