This one's solo, haha. Going to have another next week, which, I believe, will be assigned to people by groups. I kind of dislike it, considering I do better when working alone, but will manage to get through, somehow, hopefully!

I'm doing pretty well; spent most of my time doing project I was assigned for this week (thankfully, I'm about 80% percent finished), and just hung around afterward, haha. Yeah, they should be coming up pretty soon. What about yours?

I only have the one exam actually, and I can (hopefully) do that as a 24-hour assignment as well. I've done my undergrad but we still have to do some coursework for PhD; luckily it's not as much as last year by far and a bit relaxed as well. Still a bugger though! Some of my friends are still doing their studies though and will have a bunch of exams to deal with.

Vivillon's form differences were kinda cool but Megas is something I think that needs equal treatment for everyone since missing out on one could give Game Freak bad reputation and we don't want that do we?

May's new outfit does sorta keep her tomboy look, in fact the only "girly" thing I see on her is the bow that replaced the bandanna she had in the original games.

The PSS will have customizable icons iirc but they're likely just trainer classes (there was one using a Pokemon Ranger icon during the Mega Rayquaza reveal) and probably Gym Leaders and Elite Four/Steven will be available icons as well.

And yeah region-exclusive events are just totally stupid, but with the OR/AS demo it turns out certain regions get a different Mega such as Japan getting Steelix and almost likely the rest of the world getting Glalie. Although I'm sure they can include a method to obtain the Mega Stones of both without needing the demo, because intentional exclusion of certain Megas would cause a lot of negative backlash.

And I actually don't mind the lack of customization since I barely used it in X/Y anyway and I do look a lot like May (she's got the same hair color as me, but the eye color is different) so yeah actually excited to play because her updated appearance is extremely cute.

Yeah, it's like how people complain all these events in 6th Gen require going to a retailer or are only specific to certain regions. In fact, it's just hard to believe there has been no Diancie event announced for Australia yet, while the US, Japan and even parts of Europe will be getting it soon and what makes it worse is that it'll unlock the Diancite in OR/AS so the intentional exclusion of Australian players from an opportunity to get Diancie's Mega Evolution is just total idiocy on Game Freak's part.

And on the topic of customization removal, someone actually canceled their preorder solely due to the lack of the trainer customization. And even a user here, MarinoKadame, is sad that he's going to have to face fighting "clones" of Brendan and May.

But yes, Game Freak are basically forcing you to buy the new games which has been a disturbing thing going since 4th Gen where the newer games introduce something that the previous games won't be able to pick up.

Now THAT is even worse than lack of customization... it's like Game Freak are trying to force you into always playing the newest games, especially if you're a competitive player.

Today is the day the whole Pokemon fanbase imploded and here's why...
