Awesome :) I suppose that is a good point - you basically have to look at your options, and choose what you think will suit you more. In this scenario, you basically choose between avoiding the idiots, and being able to meet new people and make friends easily. I guess its just up to each individual which one suits you more.

Yeah, its something I really need to learn I guess. I mean, I've got my own way of avoiding those kind of situations most of the time, which is just by not interacting with (most) people in the first place, but that of course has its own problems.

Yeah it is usually done as a precaution, but I was just wondering if there was something more serious going on. Yeah, its not surprising to me either, hearing that, its just making alarm bells go off in my head because well, swelling can put a lot of pressure on the brain if it goes unchecked so yeah, that's pretty serious, especially if there's nothing to relieve it.

... ... ... I'm just going to cringe and make a mental note to avoid idiots in control of large trucks... seriously what was that driver thinking? But being hit again would not have helped at all, plus failing safety equipment makes it even worse... At least he seems to be in a reasonably good state, all things considered.
