Yeah I still play Borderlands 2 every now and then, but not as much as I used to. I kind of got bored because there really isn't much to do once you hit level 50 on your main character. I guess I could try leveling up my side characters to 50, but the only two other characters I would actually use would be either Axton or Gaige. Even then, my preferred character will always be Maya.
If they raised the level cap, or had a rebirth system where you would go back to level 1, get all of your badass challenges reset, and get 10 or more badass tokens to spend, I would probably be playing nonstop. If they even added a third and more difficult playthrough which actually requires teamwork and strategy and offers great rewards, I would also be much more interested in the game. So it's basically just the replay value that the game is lacking for me.
Yeah I was practically addicted to Borderlands 2 when it first came out. I hit the level cap within a week or less, and played it nonstop until Resident Evil 6 came out. Then I slowly stopped playing, and now I only play when my friends want to. I guess in a way, i've been preoccupied with other games to play, and there is school that I still have to deal with too, so yeah.
I hope Gearbox's future DLC will surpass Borderland 1's "Secret Armory" DLC, because their recently DLC was decent, but not as good as or better than the Secret Armory. Literally I just use Captain Scarlet's DLC to farm the Leviathan loot chests for legendary items, and that's it. I don't even bother fighting Hyperious or the other invincible. (I forgot his name) Oh, and speaking of invincibles, I hope they create one that is literally impossible to beat, and doesn't have a 24 hour lock, because Hyperious is easy to kill if you know what you're doing, and the lock prevents him from being farmed.
