Been a bit bored/sick thepast few days so went back to this. I decided to do the Oddish line for now, basing them off a different species of corpse flower
Oddish already had the "baby" concept down with it's original shiny colors, so I just did those on it's coloration, but changed up Gloom...
So I've been in a slump lately and not felt all that creative. I was thinking the other night that I'd work through the Pokedex and redesign every Shiny Pokemon, but then I got to Wartortle and gave up haha. I was struggling on what I could do for the more plain Pokemon like Mew/Ditto/Whoever...
I'd say Gen V. I think they're very dynamic and blend in well with the Unova region. None of them are way too on the nose (unlike Gen VII) and there's a tonne of variety there.
Mega Evolution. I do like Dynamaxing but when you're playing competitively it's too hard to predict who they're gonna Dyanmax, plus half the time I forget the feature is there. Z-moves never really clicked with he and I don't think I used them more than 10 times in Gen VII so I'm not a fan. Mega...
(didn't know whether to post this here in in Pokemon General)
Don't usually create threads here, but I've been pondering this recently. I know it's probably been brought up before, but what ideas do people have for improving the Ice Type, which is probably the "worst" (subjective) type in the...
It's a decent story but very bad execution.
[SPOILERS] So you're literally halfway through the Championship Tournament, then you, Leon, and Hop go out for dinner. Leon doesn't show and Hop is all like "omg he's never late something must be wrong!!". Oleana says they're in a meeting and hides...
I've only watched up to Black and White and don't know much of the Hoenn season, but my ranking would be:
1. Sinnoh - They took what worked with Hoenn and expanded it. They had more rivals and each of them had their stories. The only two things that stick out off the top of my head are Brock...
They work in this game too, and I know they work in overworld encounters, i'm not too sure about surpirse encounters though. Magnet Pull doesn't exist in the game yet tho since it's locked behind Meltan.
Mudsdale was used in roughly 5% of teams in the latest VGC tournament, so it's not that common, but it'd still be nice for them to use a counter to ground types.
I second this. Everything you've got to counter Mudsdale is weak to Earthquake, so it doesn't really work out. I wouldn't go with Corviknight due to it being a Physical attacker and not working well with Mudsdale's Stamina ability.
I'd recommend either Gastdoron, or Rotom-W (as you suggested)...
