    Ah yeah, I forgot about those 4 year contracts. I got a 6-2 contract. 6 years 'active' and 2 years in the inactive ready reserves. Yeah I've heard the Air Force does, and they have the shortest. I think they only make you go for like 7 or 8 weeks and the PT test is supposed to be easier. I think they only have to run 1.5 miles. All basic trainings are hyped up though. Everyone acts like it was hell going through it but really it's easy as long as your in the right place, in the right uniform and you follow your orders. You get used to being screamed at 24/7, being in the front leaning rest and all those ******** mind games drill sergeants love to play.

    They're sooooo worth it! You just have to be really, really, really careful. ;< I could tell you horror stories of bad gauging. But if you take your time, do it smart, and expand your lobes slowly, it's so much fun! n_n; If/when you do start gauging, I'll happily walk you through the process. I've been back and forth so many times now I know the rules in my damn sleep lol.

    Unless you're planning on doing it in a shop, in which case it's still worth it! xD
