Oh, and I've got this web lecture thing starting up literally any minute now, so don't be surprised when I suddenly just stop responding for the next forty-five minutes. Need to focus on this thing and stuff. :x

Well, it kind of depends on what your taste in anime is. Lucky Star is aimless, and I mean really aimless, essentially just consisting of those short scenes and discussions, so if they're that repulsive to you you might not enjoy. If you don't mind the lack of a bigger plot and can just enjoy the cutesy animation, conversations, and blatant gaming, manga, and anime references then go for it. =D The best stuff does start a couple of episodes in, but the basic gist of the show is pretty much the same throughout it all. :x

Oh, who am I kidding? Seeing that much time devoted to discussing something so completely trivial just reminded me of my old friends from upper elementary so it amused me. I never even thought of it as actually trying to teach me something. XD
