Pokemon Day Expectations

What are your expectations for this year's Pokemon Day?

I'm in the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon new game copium train.

• Standard Pokemon Go, Masters, and Unite announcements.
• Something about tournaments.
• Black/White remakes. Schedules a remake every three years. Releases in mid-November.
• Virtual Console port. Guesses Emerald and maybe Crystal.
• One surprise game. Had time for another Let's Go, so probably not that. Released Legends: Arceus relatively recently, so not Legends: Celebi (or whatever) yet. Dredged up some really old spinoffs lately. Passes on Pokemon Ranger. Changes too much of the formula probably. Picks Pokemon Colosseum as a remaster.

An additional thought on the surprise game: Could be a test balloon for a Generation 10 feature instead. Introduced overworld Pokemon in Let's Go (before Sword/Shield) and open world in Legends: Arceus (before Scarlet/Violet). What could they pilot? Timed commands? Perhaps something like a battlefield grid (with terrain/elevation)? Maybe something more tame, like a first-person Pokemon mode (similar to the Synchro Machine in Scarlet/Violet)? ...Could totally make a first- or third-person game where you are a Pokemon. Sounds like a winner.

May be reading too far into things, though. Did not keep rideable Pokemon from Let's Go, crafting from Legends: Arceus, or things like stat/status changes from Legends: Arceus.

I'm thinking a new gen 9 mythical, that would be pretty neat!

What I want:

• Old games, at least some of them, being ported to Switch
• Legends: Johto announcement
• BW remakes not in BDSP style, and the release date not being end of this year
• Gen 10 being set in Australia, the release date also not being end of this year

I know we are 98% likely to get a Pokémon game at the end of this year but one can still hope they will take more time for both. ;_;

Already stated my guesses for the next game in the other thread so I'll put some other things on my mind here.

I don't understand why some people think we are getting Let's go Johto. LGPE was meant to get more Go players into the franchise back when Go was more relevant. And I personally count Let's go and Legends in the same category. Seriously, Legends Johto should be what happens instead.

I do not hope for any faithful remakes altogether. But knowing what's in line next from the formula we are getting faithful gen2 remakes I'm fine because it follows the formula. But if it ends up being faithful gen5 remakes… really would that not be too soon? I'm not completely opposed, but so far the trend was that the first remakes of the generation would happen in twice the number of the remake generation so that means gen5 remakes should happen in gen10. Altogether, I'll probably just expect it to not be disappointed, but really… don't remake gen5 so soon. Not even if you make the graphics really good.

I guess Legends: Celebi might be there, and remake of B/W, because of Tao-Trio story has something to do....

In Pokémon Go, I believe there might something to do with the new Routes and party play feature, especially for Palafin, as it requires presence of another trainer.
And just few minutes ago, Niantic released the trailer for next season, which will kick off in 5 days. The trailer does teases ultra wormhole, hence we might be getting remaining ultra beasts.

And last time, it was ultra beasts who were teased, so I am expecting paradox Pokémon to be teased this time.
