Umm, here goes. Haven't tutored anyone in a while.

Assignment #1:
Pt 1. Create a sig that goes out of your comfort zone. This could mean, if you are a Vectorist, try a smudge sig.
Pt 2. Use a stock, but don't cut it out. If this is too hard, tell me.
Pt 3. Use text, but try and hide it somewhere. This can be made easier by doing a clipping mask. If I
can see it easily, low marks. If it is hard to see, high marks.
Ok. Give me your best. No timelimit, cause that will give you pressure.

Hm, I don't do spriting so much as I do other things nowadays. But most of my pixel work was done on Paint alone. You can find various guides in one of Pixel Art's stickied threads or even elsewhere on the net.
