With Pokemon's recent formats, you'd either have to strike gold with a rogue deck or play very well with what was considered good in order to win a tournament at the Master's (16+) level, since that tends to be where all the best players are because they've often got years of competitive experience.

It's soo good! It's about a bio weapon that was developed in Russia (called Bloody X) but abandoned because it was too dangerous, and terrorists from Japan got a hold of it and are planning to use it to infect all of Tokyo. Story basically follows this young hacker named Tagaki and he's like the only one talented enough to bring down the organization- or so he thinks.

I had to save up for my own GBA as well as for Pokemon Sapphire. I had to save up for a lot of stuff when I was younger.

Although in Pokemon, they kinda are because sometimes, there really is no alternative to beating the best decks.

Any YGO playing at my school was super-strict, by the banned list (because people would complain if you weren't going by the current ban-list, even if it was a casual match), so it kinda turned me off of playing it.

The space core is pretty hilarious.

No super-awesome clubs at your school? Mine had an ultra-nerdy club called the Tactical Games Club that I went to. We created our own games and played them. One of them was set in space and we were fighting an alien horde, trying to blast their asses off of the planets we were on. We were a badass special ops force!

Maybe it's Surf Ninjas in space? Because I'm pretty sure it's set in space. Or at least the future.
