lol @ POEMAN
Anyway, that's a really nice looking project you have going there. I really love the work you and your team put into it. I couldn't help but notice even the details put into the battle screen, such as the wind rushing past the leaves. Unless that gif just glitched out, but I'm inclined to give you and your team the credit for that. If nothing else, even working on fan games gives you some kind of experience, even if it's gateway. I know what it's like to keep a project going just because you've invested so much time into it. That's probably half my projects already, and yet I still start new ones on top of it, which is why I'm backlogged beyond belief.
They say the hardest part of the game industry is getting into it. I can't speak for or against that, I didn't have a hard time at all. However, I feel like that depends on the point of entry, and where you want to work. If you're trying to work somewhere triple A, then yeah, but the majority of people these days don't end up there, but something smaller. It would seem as if there's a lot less creative freedom working in that situation anyway. Frankly, what's more important is establishing connections. The more of those you have, the better your chances. Also, once you're in, you become more marketable to other employers.
You probably know all that, though.
Also, it's very hard to see what I'm typing in your message box. Grey on top of another grey that seems to have been shifted down a pixel in the color selector. :( I gotta highlight each time to check for typos, and I know I make them.
