    I'll end it noting that the comment just came across negatively, mentioning me in the post like that. Obviously no offense was intended by me here, I wouldn't have said anything had that kind of comment not been made. I do think it's better that the user gets a quick answer, however, rather than wait two or three hours for a moderator to give the same answer; I mean, I could just as easily PM the user and you wouldn't even know (granted, that might be even quicker!). This is just a difference of opinion and me trying to be a helpful person to everyone, nothing to get concerned about or give infractions for. :)

    Heck, I think I came close to being infracted in NU once because of my style of welcoming people; I responded by leaving that forum. Actually haven't posted there since. I took great offense to the comment that I was trying to "increase my post count" (really, I don't care if I have 100 posts or 10,000 posts; if anything, posts show experience, nothing else) and was tired of having my personal welcomes deleted. I still wonder why they don't make it not contribute to post count and just kill some of the damn rules, but hey, that's me. :)

    Telling someone that they can send me a VM for help getting a Pokémon with Pokérus is all right. Answering a comment where it is said (s)he isn't sure if it should be posted in the trade forum is all right. If I were to say, "This thread will be closed any minute", that would NOT be all right, nor would me posting something like, "Forever, attend please". :P

    There's no problem with people helping other people; moderators don't have to be the exclusive help in various circumstances. If anything, it shows at times people who might be good FUTURE moderators to add to the staff. I use the report button where warranted. Hell, go see how many reports I've submitted in the past. There was no need for that kind of comment in the closing post, and it comes across as immature. Sorry.
