Exe is trying and learning. I was turned off as well at first but once I realized Exe just needed guidance, I gave him just that. We all need to start somewhere and no one is perfect.

As for specific, just go with the pokemon from Route 2. I don't mean to be nosy, but Vulpix is indeed a Route 2 pokemon. I saw where you were talking to gimmiepie, and his/her character was in Route 2 when they caught it. You could progress to Route 2, but not go past it. I (think) he/she went into Route 2 to catch it, but never past it. Everything is fine, I would just stick to the Route 2 specific pokemon to aid us in battle.

I myself have my eyes on a Vulpix. ^^

I think it seemed to die a little miserably there at the end. Like it was fighting not to die, and then boom... It died, badly.

Thanks. ^^ That is my first attempt in a while, so that's reassuring. And yeah, he likes Tedder, but he is still learning to get used to him. Of course, it really doesn't help that Tedder is nervous and scared. I figured I could work better from the "nervous" angle rather than the "confident, cocky, stud" trainer. That is done pretty often, so I wanted to challenge myself more.

Oh I have too, I used to roleplay quite often. First on the Harry Potter Message Boards, and then here...

It's definitely harder here, but I enjoy both. This one probably more so now, considering Harry Potter isn't quite as popular now that the series has basically ended.

I'm just doing a basic post for right now, detailing my arrival in town.

Hmm... Well to be honest, I don't really know how I want to do it. We're both at the disadvantage of having one pokemon right now, so that would be a brief battle. ^^ Not that I am complaining, I certainly don't mind. I'm just bad at the decision-making side of things. We can battle, or we can just meet and become a sort of rival yet ally kind of deal... Perhaps just chat it up at first? Truthfully, I have only ever "battled" someone one time, via PM... I need some work in that area.

In either case, I would still like for you to be my first battle, I'm just not sure I want to battle yet.

You decide. I'll just go with what you want to do, no arguing from me. Lol.
