As for my personal opinions, well, does it get any better than the conflict between idealism and reality? And Luffy's absolute, steel conviction being challenged? It was perfect. It was borderline cliche, but at least they lined it (and started the whole conflict off with) the Straw Hat's concept of pirateing being thrown upside down and losing.

And then that battle. Omg. Luffy just punching the spring sniper into the ground in one shot.

I mean, "the sky", and everything that stands for. How does it get any better. ;]

Also, gunna put up my OP fanart in my gallery today. :D Super excited about showcasing it. I'm really, really proud of it, considering I've only done like two pieces of fanart that isn't Pokemon.

And, for the record, I'm going to make an official statement. One Piece is my favorite anime. And, you know me, I'm a hard sell on anime. It. Is. Hilarious. I was kinda ~eh~ on officially stating that I like OP more than, say, Serial Experiments Lain or VoH, but yes. It's done.

If you ever have the time or the ability, I want you to make me a few Straw Hat icons so I can rock an OP theme. After almost 150 episodes, it's time I actually wear my admiration on my figurative sleeve.

I've been contemplating whether or not to straight "remove" your name from things; but I decided to just edit the color. You are still the author of a lot of threads, and you should receive ample credit for that. I'm thinking I'm just going to supporter tag your name instead of removing it entirely.

Also, I'm at episode 149. :D Just after that whole Rainbow Mist thing (which, tbh, was kinda a 5/10 for me).

No I haven't seen it yet. But I will today, promise! I have to take my car into the shop in like 5 minutes because the brakes are shot and the steering column shakes like hell whenever I apply them and.. of all things.. there's a bee's nest INSIDE THE CAR. :x

Soooo yeah my day is going to need some serious OP to counteract the bees.

I was a little iffy on Robin when I drew her. ;w; I haven't had proper time to really see and familiarize myself with her character, so I used a couple different references. I think the biggest problem I had with her wasn't her face shape or nose.. but getting her eyes symmetrical. But eh, it's the thought that counts. For a last minute addition, I'd give her a 6 maayybbee 7 / 10. Idk I'm pretty biased. xD

In all seriousness, I think I just grew up wrong. FF never clicked with me. And when 7 came along, it was all the hype and I was too busy playing Resident Evil or something. :p Then Nick played FF13 not too long ago, and I sat around watching it and, I'll admit, it didn't appeal to me at all. I just can't see past their gimmick and into the real gameplay.

AND I WILL NOT SKIP ANY EPISODES. >_<; I have to watch the whole thing in order. I can crank out five-ish episodes tonight though, so I should be at where you're talking about tomorrow.
