I get the feeling that in any other generation Oshawott would've been a stand-out, but it has some real competition in gen 5 with Tepig as well. But then Snivy had a sort of smug and aloof appeal too...

Oshawott IS pretty great, I've always felt that he was Piplup done right - look at those eyes! He could never steal the place in my heart from Buizel the adorable sea weasel, though. :3
