Ooh okey! Sorry if I come off as rude. I'm not very good at that lol. I understand though. I'm not 100% incompatible but usually I find it much easier to simply be assigned to do something and then finish it, do you know what I mean? Or I end up just doing the whole thing myself. It's very frustrating to work with other people and I find myself often ostracized. Although I still can be social which screws me up, because I really try to make friends but eh, people are weird things. I take it you're a far more distant type?

It sucks when you can't really work well with other people and then they ostracize you, and they treat you like you're dumb and throw you in a corner. I got that a lot at my last job :( Do yourself a favour and avoid sales and customer service at all costs!

I was diagnosed about a year and a half ago so I'm still trying to pull pieces together and see what it all means. My parents pretty much ignored it and because of it I'm good in some areas but terrible in others, and I'm trying to take everything I can to try to make myself more palatable to other people.

Just curious but why do you consider autism a big defining trait? Don't take it the wrong way, I'm autistic too, but I have a very different attitude, where I try to make sure people don't notice. I mean, it's like shoving a donkey under a rug but still. I guess I'm super self conscious about it though.

I mean, with me, what I do is I basically tell people only I've known them after a while. They know that I'm quirky and I have weird things that I do, and that I can be all over the place. But I hate being labeled by people who are drawing from stereotypes, so I find it hard to simply put that on my "list of things of who I am". I mean, it is a part of me, but I focus on the little stuff I guess.
