Haha well I guess I should rephrase it with "hunt their own Shinies[.]" ;) I'm totally fine with others, such as yourself, trading for them, but as I've said before I'd rather hunt them myself.

So good luck to you with whatever method you want to use to acquire a shiny!

Unfortunately, I can't ;). I'm also a firm believer that people should earn their own Shinies, because imo it really is fulfilling when you can check their summary page, see yourself as the OT, and recall the memories it took to get them.

I can, however, wish you the best of luck in your shiny hunts! :P

Haha, yes. I was specifically breeding for a male shiny Shelmet (because I am completely OCD for my pokes to be male) with flawless IVs in at least HP, Special Attack, and Speed to stay competitive. Unfortunately for me, the first Shelmet was male, but had terrible SpA IVs; the next 4 Shelmets, in a row, were females which caused me to lose my sanity a bit -_-; the next one was male, but had terrible Speed IVs; and finally after a course of a week there was light at the end of the tunnel. My 7th Shelmet was not only male, but it had 5x flawless IVs and all in the right places (31/x/31/31/31/31).

I definitely had to take a break from shiny hunting after that lol, but I'm really glad I stuck through it and it paid off in the end. :P

I haven't used that combination before, unfortunately. ): Will try it out someday though!
