Hi.... I'm playing Dark Violet and I absolutely love it..... But I'm stuck in fuchsia city.... whenever I try to cross the city to get to the beach I'm stopped by a guy who says 'Thank you for playing Pokemon Dark Violet Beta 2.0 haha I'm in the way lol' and I cant play further..... I even patched beta 2.1 and tried but still the same result..... Could you suggest a solution????

Just wondering, is there anything I can do to help develop this hack further? I really like playing it.

i found a bug with the tm case in the darkviolet beta 2.1 when after i got the 2 HMs from the SS. anne captian. every tm (not hms) become just random characters when i go back everything becoms black except for the menu and my pokemons are just all bad eggs there is also a retire option from the safari zone and when i choose it i become leaf/green en just slide across the ground and all my pokemon (even the bad eggs) dissapear

I really enjoyed playing Darkviolet however does it really end after defeating Sabrina? I can't go to Cinnabar Island, what should I do?

Dude, I must say, your hack is the best of the best that I've ever played.
Great music, great sprites, balanced moves, good evolution methods, nice plot twist.
It's just awesome!
I recommend a couple of things:

1. Try to make it playable online, upgrade a seconds floor on the Pokecenter (maybe just one, with Direct Corner, only if it's possible and not that hard)
2. Continue hard working with the music, that's the best of your hack (I loves Giovanni's new theme)

Is it okay if I use some of the sprites in your sprite resource in my hack? Credit will be given, of course. If not, I'll have to take down my hack on the Romhack.me website. Should have asked beforehand, sorry.

Would it be possible if I used your tilesets in my hack? I'm not wanting to use every tileset of yours, just some in building ones and various O/W tiles, they are mighty fine.

Hahaha, suppose that would make sense - you'd said I could continue with my save so I kinda took it all the way and just patched it. Funny glitch, I guess. :P

So, downloaded Beta 2 today. I plan on taking it a bit slow - not completing it in one sitting, I mean. I applied it to the same ROM as the original Beta, played away, got as far as Vermilion (accepting the Egg along the way). I was delighted to catch a Magby, because Flame Body. Decided I'd hatch the egg because I could abuse VBA's speed-function.

Then, er, this happened.


The Eevee can be used and is now level 4. I will name him Scrambled.

Prooooooooobably gonna restart on a fresh ROM - I'm using the correct dump, but something clearly went wrong my end. :P

Hey, I'll always wanna play Dark Violet. :P Though I didn't know Beta 2 was complete - at least, I'd seen screens and didn't get around to downloading it myself. But I definitely will! :)

Crap, totally haven't. I'll get on that tomorrow, have some free time. Should I start with a fresh file? (I assume you'll have addressed that in the thread anyway).
