Jeez. xD So that's what, about two to three new archetypes on average a year? I don't know how the championships or whatever go down for that (I think it'd be once a year?), but if they ban the old ones or major cards in the old ones right before a championship thing, you're... pretty screwed. xD

Yeah, I recall Zexal having a really nice soundtrack from what I've seen of it so far and heard in various places - they did a really good job.

I mean, certain things I could understand reusing. Scenes, for example - like when Yuuya does that dramatic Draw, it seems to be reused, but reusing the same voices is kinda... Yeah. xD
Hopefully some of the money saved goes towards making arc v's dub decent though, but that's unlikely.

They literally skipped episodes? As in they just went from, say, episode 20 to, say, 22 without dubbing 21? Damn. How could they even skip an episode?
So wait, in the dub of 5D's they just skipped to the final battle or whatever?

Yeah, people probably would've liked it more. A soundtrack can really either make or break a series, honestly. I mean if you think about it you'll be hearing the soundtrack even more than actual dialogue in some cases. xD Though I guess 5D's came out at a bad time.

Hmm... Let's see. I recently picked up AS, then I have X, Animal Crossing, OoT3D, and that Paper Mario game, in terms of what I've played recently. I also have that one KH game on the 3DS, but I haven't played it in a while and actually forgot where I have it xD

He did get pretty shafted in 02, yeah. So he'll probably get redeemed finally. xD

Smart. Not necessarily for the players of course, but as a marketing ploy. They're pretty much screwing over people's hard work to make the decks though, assuming that takes a while. Which is kind of in itself messed up. But the fact that only a few cards get banned makes it worse.

Yeah, watching the comparison it made no sense. xD Like.. Does he know him or not? I guess this is why generally most dubs are considered non-canonical.
They should've gone that way with most of the seasons of YGO, honestly. Especially 5D's considering all of the changes that were made. I mean, yeah, a kid wouldn't notice it, but even I found it extremely boring and confusing when I watched it and I was... I think 5D's is six or seven years old, so between nine and ten.
Hard to believe it's been that long, though.

And they couldn't pull the "oh they went on a vacation" thing because if I recall, they're shown in the alternate dimension thing towards the end, no? I mean not many people go on vacations to alternate dimensions to my understanding. xD

Honestly though I do kinda think they should've just gave it a different name. Watching a sub/dub comparison felt odd - it seems in the dub Yusei knows Trudge, but in the original he doesn't seem to.

Since his parents were I think in an alternate dimension or something in the original... I guess they might've just kept that? xD I mean it isn't gruesome, really. And slightly children friendly.
