Well assuming this is your hack directly I found it more relevant to ask you instead.
I've changed that offset and I've gotten the pokemon to come out the same, & the prior offset I gave was for the static name, I've added the routine approximately 10 times, and haven't been able to get a legit name posted to work.
to call the asm on the static name all I would need would be:
callasm 0x750101 'offset of static name routine
and no flags or var would need to be set correct??
Edit: game doesn't crash when I click on the name of a clean rom, but it's still changed to "â"
