And as for your friend's seminar, I'm sure they'll understand if you explain to them. It sucks, but it's not the worst that could have happened, and you can still talk to them about it and such.

I remember in Winter, my friends and I here watched 28 days later, at night. I then had to walk home through the corridors of this apartment block alone, in the dark. These corridors are terrifying in the day, but in the pitch dark with flickering lights and images of Zombies chasing you... I'm amazed I got home sane.
