Before you use it, you'll need to find the offset of encrypt_poke because I'm not on a computer that I can search on.
Let me know if it works, but even if it doesn't at least let me know if change it and it does. Also, it uses variable 0x8004 to load the happiness from (<= 0xFF).
I tried them after installing wine and simply didn't have enough space on my computer. If I got rid of wine and all of the apps it created, I'd probably have space, so maybe it would be worth a try.
Just had a look at it and it seems like a good base for reading any table. If I'm understanding it correctly, what you've done from push to pop is:
Spoiler:
Therefore, if I wanted to read a table in general, all I'd have to do is
A) Change the BaseStats word to the offset of the new table
B) Change the #0x1C in step 4 to the new length of a table entry
C) Change the +0x14 in step 6 to the number of entries into the table I want to look at
D) Remove all of the steps that involve egg group 2 if I'm only looking for one thing (or expand upon if I'm looking at more than two things)

Lol I don't know how much is a number. It's somewhat new to me but I'm a comp sci student so I have background knowledge in other areas.
I could create new abilities, ASM for items, small things. Finding locations of data in the ROM and RAM is probably my worst area
