Sure! I got some new headphones with my new computer, and I'm interested to hear whatever.

True, very true. Well, except for the lottery. I'd practice every day for that, haha.

You should recommend some songs! My music library recently is a little dry.

It comes with practice and experience. I can critique the story and characters of a movie all day long, but ask me about the acting performances, and I don't have a clue.

Luckily, there are rare gems out there with very few mistakes and good performances, and those are the ones I really like.

I'm a writer, so I naturally look for those things.

Oh yeah, it's just the not so well made parts that people like to fit in.

It's a personality quirk, so I liked it because of that, haha.

Unfortunately, people don't seem to put a lot of effort into characters in some of their movies, but I guess it was like that back then too.

Sam was an interesting character, so I liked him because of that. He was the only one selfless enough to let go of the ring.

And that's the sign of a good character. Sure you have to have a good idea on who they are, so you can be consistent throughout the story, but you also have to learn when it's a good time for them to step out of character, and do something purely based on emotion rather than personality. It's hard, but they managed to pull it off right.

Plus Sam was the big hero in the end.

I haven't seen The Hobbit, haha.

The characters are interesting in the series because they aren't afraid to show off how flawed they are. Which is why they felt so real.
