Hey, what are some of the standard hack things that everyone incorporates into their hacks nowadays?
Like, I remember everyone used JPAN's engine. Is there anything similar to that that everyone is using now too? Or do people still use that?

I'm considering getting back into hacking but if there's a bunch of stuff I'm better off adding before I start then I wanna know :P

Hey I wanted to ask about one of my more ambitious threads... I have a major thread I'm working on and have been for some time ... I don't want to disclose details to the public so if you want to know I can PM the details but if I were to make a thread that's reallyyyy long but very resourceful and a major contributon, would I be allowed to reserve posts and then edit them immediately? I want to section some of the details by post so it's easy to bounce through them and with so much info in each (I also love lots of graphic and video images in my threads so there will be lots of those too) it'd be hard to search through it all even if it's neatly organized because of subheaders and what not. It's not ready and won't be for awhile and maybe I should wait until then but it also helps me format my thread while I'm working on it so if I need to disclose more details let me know but any help is nice. tl;dr: making a big thread. Can I post several posts to section the thread out (probably like 5 including the main post)

Hmm, you may be right. But, I was thinking it would be like my introduction post would be an index and I can hyperlink it all up.
I'm going to make my first lesson about which ROM to pick.

Do you think for my lessons it would be best to make them all separate posts in the same thread, or separate threads? If I made them in separate threads it might make answering questions about each lesson easier... :|

I'm not exactly sure yet, but I'm probably going to cover all the major topics. Titlescreen, World Map, Mapping, Scripting, etc. For scripting I'll show a couple key scripts.
