First,
Thank you for responding to my first post. It mean a lot actually; so again, thank you.
And Secondly:
I'm Hip!!!
That Mew you placed on Cinnabar Mansion, golly! I searched for hours to find the floor/staircase! I even went back to see if it was an "invisible" path was there like in the the Underworld/ground.
I think you did that somewhere else with a different Pokémon too. OHH! I think you planted another Mew appearance somewhere else too ( In! the Orange Islands ). Soo cool man, like, I was tempted to just get whip out the Action Replay code and conceal my fate! (Maybe it was Mew but somewhere in the islands like, in a forest? I remember something like that, maybe I'm wrong.)?
That said though, the poke ball I mentioned next to Mirage Island is something you can approach and click on.
Which is cool, maybe you can make it so it says.
"You found [Nothing] inside the pokéball."
lol Funniest thing since Jack Sparrows Grave.
Um, maybe this is also something to consider for revamping but, some of the moves a pokémon can learn may "screw" with the battle.
A good example is "Circle Throw"; I taught Poli that seeing how I Dynamic Punch and Focus Punch seemed to cost effective.
Anyway, when you use Circle Throw, your supposed to hit the Foe, and then said Foe is either switched [Trainer Battle] or flees [Wild].
HOWEVER, on the cases where use Circle Throw; And the Foe Faints; AND YOU DIDN'T SWITCH POKEMON the game reads as the second throw is done "But it failed" ; experience is awarded and the Foe's sprite doesn't disappear.
Now, if this was a Trainer's Battle, and again you didn't switch Pokémon, then the sprite of the First Foe would stay, and then get mixed up with the second pokémon.
(e.g. You K.O. a Diglett with Circle Throw; didn't switch, next pokémon is a Charmeleon; Then the Charmeleon comes out; Well, you now are versing a Diglett with Charmeleon on Overlayed on top of it + Diglett is using Charmeleon's color template? This even happens if it's the end, and the trainer comes out. then Diglett remains on the screen until the battle ends and your back in the over world. )
Forgive me if the explanation and words are a bit to vague; I hope I have translated what is happening though. I played around with this concept and saw what Kangaskoo looks like with Kangaskhan skin color.
But yeah, I mean, Beta 12 looks like it's got a lot work already on the table; it's cool if you don't get too it; It's actually fun to see some Pokémon like this. (no joke lol).
Also:
Easter Eggs? lol Maybe you should name one the eggs you get "Easter" Ha.Ha. Get it, "Easter EGG" lol My bad. I have a dry scene of puns; my friends call me the butt of the joke; But I tell them the real butt just something they can't grasp (Because that's why they Single! Can't get the booty!!!!! [lol my bad, sorry for the Dirt-y])
Seriously on the Easter Egg jokes, it's pretty cool. There's like a 4th Dimension of understanding added on to the game that makes it more "life-like" even if they don't exist in reality (e.g. "Link", Jack's Grave, and that comment in Saffron City?? about Strong-Female Characters, The "Mew hiding under the Truck! hoax" , and references [I think one] to Mario?? Also [I just got the point to this name too] Matha Fauker ).
Lol It really is fun to play and interact/read with this dialogue this way; and Yes, some of these are not Easter Eggs so too speak but, dang, whatever they're called, it makes the whole journey worth it. Like, being asked "Should I Smack Her?" Makes one truly think x'DD
Two Things;
1) Remember the Swampert you meet in Cerulean City? Kinda of like as you first enter the town?
Was that story supposed to continue? Because I know there was more dialogue that references the whole "Something is lurking" in the water thing (With some people volunteering to jump into the Cerulean water, and fisherman afraid of what's out in the water). Even a kid swimming in Pallet Town mentions his mom got him a Mudkip from Cerulean and Red is like "Wait, If It's from there.."
If your supposed to Dive, I tried diving into the dark patches. You can't do that anymore, or maybe there's a specific time to do so? You just simply can't.
2 ) This is just regarding the Mewtwo's you encounter but maybe you should alter the levels to match the Dialogue you have with Blaine/Fuji?
Because Mr.Fuji claims the Origin Cave Mewtwo is stronger ( even though this Mewtwo's level is weaker to Blaine's [We caught a lv.100 Mewtwo for Blaine]) Or you could just change his stats? so that Origin Cave Mewtwo, although weaker in level, is actually stronger in stats or something. (Like, his Stat is like +10 levels ahead of him.)
That said, upon leaving the cave of origins your catch a glimpse of "evil spirits" saying that we've broken a seal. Is that dialogue/scene plot-relevant or anything anymore? I tried so hard to search if there was a way to continue that story line but, atlas, tis not there anymore.....
Thank you so much for reading this post again.
I have too apologize though, as I'm letting grammar escape me through this conversation. Truly I ask if you can forgive the grammatical/syntax errors I've left; however, I do hope my grammar does not mislead or under mine what I am trying to say. I hope the message still gets across.
So
Again
Thank you.
Also, my own question but; as a fan of your work; is there anything I can do at a fan-standpoint to help out with your game?
I could send more messages/notes like these or something but, that only goes so far. And I don't know if that's truly effective to you (But if it is, that's cool, I can do this for all the stuff I find in the new/current updates.
We as a community can promote/ do work, etc. I just want to know what I can do to help.
Thank you again for reading this sir's letter.
Happy Gaming
