  • hey..

so i just woke up.. i turned around, my laptop sitting there with discord open. i... i'll have quite the words to say today. if i can find those words...

to the last 4 lines.. first: ...i can't promise this. you know me, after all. you can't, i can't. second: ... well... i can't really promise this either. third: i can promise this, i won't. i can't. fourth: likewise... still now, still ever. likewise. just, don't mix untrue words with true words though.
    What's responsibility?

An entire E3 section sounds pretty crazy, yeah. It sounds like fun, but at the same time you can't say much about certain things.

Alrighty, I'll leave that alone and focus on the event. I'm fairly surprised someone hasn't made one by this point, which is why I was thinking about it is all.

Thread is up, by the way. Feel free to edit/refine anything that seems iffy about it; it's easier to get it up and go from there. I've been deliberately vague about prizes for the moment. Delete it if you feel the need to as well and we can work on it further; I just wanted to get it out there, as it helps to visualise.

Honestly, I was thinking of offering (insert currency here)5 network card prizes on the store of choice for people who got three correct guesses, but I didn't want to outright commit to that in case dozens of people got that right and I couldn't afford it, haha. I think that would appeal to people though...we'll have to see. Multi-tiered emblems depending upon participation makes sense, though. I think that would probably be enough incentive for people to take part.

(Also, I'm going to be off and on for the next hour or so; I have a few things I need doing but my laptop will be on)

Alrighty, we'll start today then, give people a good few days to buzz about it :3

So...three guesses per person? It's a nice round number, and provides the opportunity for multiple prizes. Incentive is cool, etc. I was going to start a general E3 thread, but I guess that would be better delayed until the event actually starts, no? It'd keep discussion focused on the one thread, too.

It's fine; stuff happens, and I could see you were otherwise occupied~

Eh, that's fair enough, I just don't want you to get the wrong idea...I've had a fixed sleep schedule ever since I was a kid. Between 11pm and 6am. But that's the thing about it being fixed - if I don't sleep, that's tough luck. Recently it's been more like from midnight to 5am...but it's fine. I wake up in the night for the usual reasons - I'm occasionally a light sleeper, I have a lot of nightmares, and like everyone else sometimes I need to go to the bathroom. xD

Well, it could be worse I suppose, but it could be a lot better. I try not to think about it too much. But yeah, being the only one awake in the house is quite fun sometimes! Especially when you value your privacy and don't get much of it. I volunteer in a school library at the moment...hopefully it'll lead to employment when I'm allowed to work again~

Sounds like you have some time to relax, then! It's good to have stuff to do, but don't neglect to unwind a little in the manner you prefer...things have been a bit up in the air recently, no?
I used to spend all my free time writing, aha. Keep meaning to get back into it, buuut...eh. Motivation. It's extremely elusive sometimes.

It's actually fine! Having a fixed sleep schedule actually makes me quite resilient if I get less sleep, as long as it doesn't happen too often. I didn't wake up last night, so that counts for something too - usually I wake up at least once or twice. A solid four hours is better than an interrupted six, actually. In all seriousness, don't worry about me too much on this front.

She is? Oh god, what did I do this time? =x
After I wake up...I check sites, watch anime to wake up, kill some time until mother goes - sometimes I'll go with her; tomorrow I'm volunteering in the morning for example - and then I see what needs doing. Not a particularly exciting life I lead...which is why I rarely talk about it, haha. Do you have anything planned for today?~
    P
I don't/can't nap. For better or worse I'm up now until half-ten at least. I'll manage. I felt like crap waking up, but that's nothing new :3

I wish I knew David Bowie in high school. :'( That would be the dream.

Also listen to Dancing Queen - it's their best tune.

Seems so. Sorry to hear you go. :(

Everything by David Bowie, ABBA, Bee Gees, Scissor Sisters, Pink Floyd, Earth Wind & Fire... I DUNNO. Good funky tunes. That's what you need.

Nope, I just quit Discord to search for that without being told to go to bed =P

...and now I really am going to bed.

Thanks, by the way. Bahahaha. xD
Dunno if I'd pick the same moves now, though...

I've ben here and I've ben there.
I mainly play RPGs and action/adventure stuff, with a little bit of whatever is popular among my friends thrown in. I love getting a game like the Witcher and just playing it for the next two or three months lol
