  • hi forever, it's been a long time. good to see you and kip hosting the egg swaps. thanks for the welcome, hope we can swap soon. see you around.
OK, cool. ^^ I've set the start time for 18.00 EDT tonight with sign-ups all day. We'll run it all day tomorrow and stop on Monday :3 imma post it now

Is your FC still the same?
Sorry Nica :( This week has been hell. I'm finishing up the post now. I'm thinking of running the swap from tonight (say 22.00 UTC) until Monday?? what do you think?
Well hey, you could always join or collaborate with a news agency like Reuters, AFP or Getty and sell them pics for all of us overseas media to use. Or become a provider for a newspaper or something. That's a good way to make money from pics.

It's a shame people are so conditioned to think "yuck" of politicans when... well, they decide your basic day-to-day opportunities and whether you can, say, marry, apply for a job there or how much taxes you have to pay :( Especially when Australia has mandatory voting. Last year I was manning a polling station and it was so sad to see people asking me how to vote because they weren't sure about how to and... why don't they teach this sort of stuff in schools?

The problem is that the Hansons in the world rise thanks to people feeling like politics doesn't matter, or angry at the "stablishment"... and that's what could change if people got more involved instread of resorting to protest-voting :(
Ahaha. You had backup :P Well, you are young and starting and the pics were nice enough as is, so you can do more in the future probably! Especially if you get better with betting. A$100 is a lot to lose in a bet but u_u Next time bet against what you want it to happen so you have something to cheer you up instead of being doubly disappointed! I learnt that from football bets in the past.

And good. More people should care about politics tbh. We'd have less Trumps and Brexits if they did. And I'd have less things to write about but I could survive.
Well the pics are really damn nice- I can easily see the first one illustrating an article on the post-election shenanigans. And hah, that took some courage to just say "okay I'm going" but the results are nice so good job.

I have been following the election lately (lmao I remember looking at the results and commenting them with you about 6 years ago) just because I had seen summaries of how the situation was and saw Labor (the party who can't spell) could win so I was excited. They didn't but Turnbull crashed and burnt even if he's clinging to power so that's worth it. Better than our elections last month where the conservatives were the moral winners even if they don't have enough seats to do anything.

(I'm a member of the Spanish Socialist Party and a supporter for all Social-Democrat/Labour parties everywhere so you are welcome here haha)
I'd like to see! Although the whole concept confuses me because the Nationals are in Government so I don't know if by "National opposition leader" you mean the leader of the Nationals, Joyce (who is deputy PM), or the opposition leader of your nation, aka Shorten.

Also what prompted you to go to that conference? :p
