I finished off Kanto, Alola and Kalos (just need certain alternate forms but it's pretty much completed). I'm starting to work on Johto now :)

Not very lucky, I just find it fun slowly filling up my living Dex from just wonder trading haha

I actually wonder trade for both those reasons, I usually wonder trade while watching something else so I don't get bored of staring at the screen waiting for the system to match me with somebody xD

Yeah I've heard of swap breeding. Don't really get it to be honest. Seems a bit tedious but it's understandable. I honestly do actually like the whole "journey" of hunting though. Still at that Treecko. :( I've also been thinking about doing a MM for Mimikyu or Heracross, but I'm not sure which. I just want to get Treecko done first.

Right now I'd say around 20! I've gotten a lot more patient lately and I really like using the Pokeradar (Even if it is total BS sometimes). Yeah, 40 is what you wanna get to. Today I got a shiny Rhyhorn from it btw! I seriously love to use it despite its flaws.
Man you should totally let me know! That Lapras wore me out. It takes forever to hatch those eggs and I'm lucky I got it so early. Haven't done a MM since then... But I do plan on it!

Hey it's all good man! Nah the Mareep was Pokeradar. I got a Spoink from Pokeradar yesterday too! Both in Platinum. I got my Mareep from a non-shiny patch at like 39. Was that full odds? I can't seem to find an answer.

I haven't really been counting for either. I'd imagine I'm close to 1,000 but I haven't been hunting them religiously or anything. I did get a shiny Mareep yesterday though! That was good enough for me.

Yeah this was in my Sun version and I had the shiny charm on. I guess it's a bit noobish, but hey I full odds hunt too (Doing Treecko in OR right now and any Johto starter). Yesterday I found a shiny Starly after a chain of 40 on Platinum and a shiny Rockruff after only 62 SOS calls! They had bad natures (Minus attack on both :( ) but hey they're shiny Pokemon!
Treecko is seriously driving me mad. D:<
