    Lucky you! I had to walk a lot in the rain. Normally I wouldn't mind it,but I didn't have an umbrella with me. =\
    Damn rain even managed to get through my shoes, forcing me to walk nearly a mile with wet socks. God, I hate wet socks... XD

    You see, the joke is that dumb's other meaning is "unable to talk". I substituted your meaning of the word with an alternative meaning to make it funny.
