I owe all of you a huge apology. I haven't touched PC in over a well over a week now (with the exception of posting in the RP I'm in) and have been neglecting my challenge threads for even longer.

I have just now come to the decision that I will be quitting trade, and so I will be less burdened overall on PC, and will be able to do a better job of maintaining my presence in Challenges. I may wind up too busy to get it caught up tomorrow, but on Tuesday it should be no problem at all. Expect a real update.

It's been a while, but got another update after finally making progress in my Poison Monotype!

Fighting Monotype Single Challenge: Emerald

So, completed my second Emerald monotype. I tried to speed through this one so I didn't post any updates on the go.

Yes, 2 Pokemon. But this is mostly because I forgot to catch a Shroomish early on and only realized when I got my Pokemon to around level 35. Also, this happened with Machop and Heracross, unfortunately. However, I still made it, and that's what counts!

I've finally started my Fighting Monotype run.

Challenge

Glad to see you back Necrum and speaking of updates I have a small one this time. Finished training my team to level 25 during which time Gastly evolved into Haunter and then I did a quick trade-trade back to get Gengar. I defeated Morty and am now on my way to Chuck's island for my fifth badge. For a quick team recap:

I think I'd just left Striaton at my last update. Since then, I caught a Petilil named Lily and a Sewaddle named Blades, because that's just about as creative as it gets for me - this is my first time really doing nicknames, and I'm not even sure why I'm doing it. Guess I'll figure it out.

Anyway, we got to Nacrene City, and Lenora was easy enough. Herdier gave Servine enough time to set up to OHKO Watchog. We then crossed Skyarrow Bridge (God, I don't ever get tired of walking across that bridge and seeing that skyline) and got to Castelia, where we just recently beat up Burgh. He did put up a good fight, though. Oh, and during the gym challenge itself, Blades evolved from Swadloon to Leavanny. Burgh's first Pokémon, Whirlipede, destroyed Lily, despite my semi-foolproof plan which completely did not work out. Serpentina managed to take it out, though, and Scotch the Cottonee just barely pulled off KOing his Dwebble. Leavanny VS Leavanny was easy. I had Bug Bite, he had Struggle Bug, and my Blades was one level higher. Burgh, suck it.
