Pokemon Gold Update #1

Finally, I have some time to make progress on this challenge! ...Of course, I've been too lazy to grind the recent arrivals that I've obtained, besides Kelly the Murkrow who gets bonus experience, but I'm sure my team will be at decent levels soon^TM. At any rate, I had the most trouble getting Morty down, but it was smooth sailing after I invested a few minutes into training Murkrow. It should be smooth sailing from here... I hope.

THIRD UPDATE

LitC Challenge
-I went straight to Bugsy's Gym. Paula was leading and she poisoned Scyther, then I switched to Lloyd. The cocoons were no problem, but tons of things happened while fighting Scyther. Metronome gave me a Taunt, a Whitdraw and a Minimize boost, and then Conversion, so I got a STAB Extrasensory. Combine that with Sweet Kiss and...Hive Badge obtained!
-Just before entering Ilex Forest, I got challenged by Mercury. Lloyd swept through his entire team. Afterwards, I got in the forest. Had to look for some lost Farfetch´d.
-In the forest, I met another girl in a kimono, and then I finally got out of there. Had to skip the trainers in Route 34 and Route 35 to get to the National Park.
-I participated in the Bug Catching Contest and I got my next team member...Metapod! I named her Pippi.
-I battled the trainers I previously skipped, and also the ones in the Goldenrod Underground Tunnel. Both Lloyd and Pippi evolved. But Pippi had no attacking moves, and since I am so lazy, I left her in the Daycare.
-After picking up Pippi, I went to the Radio Tower, won a Radio Card for the PokéGear, and then went to Whitney's Gym. Whitney wasn´t hard to beat, as Paula beat up the annoying Miltank quite easily. So I basically got the Plain Badge.

Norman was a piece of cake with Bulk Up + Double Kick. Set up on his Spinda though and it kept trying to Teeter Dance me, but luckily Combusken pulled through. <3 On my way to the Weather Institute now, Volbeat and Ninjask are a bit behind on levels but their movepools are so bad so it's hard to train them atm.

I've done it! I've become the Kanto league champion. It was pretty tough for me with this team, but I got through. Lorelei and Bruno were easy because of my Charizard. Agatha was pretty tough, but Persian came in handy with Bite. Lance was easy with Cloyster on my side. Blue was a pain, I didn't have a good team going up against him. But we did it.

Update #2 on Sapphire.

I've gotten all the badges except for the last one, and my team has all 6 members now. I caught Sydian the Swablu up by Fallarbor Town, then caught Pinkie the Jigglypuff on Route 115 after beating Norman. Won the Normal and Super Cute Contests with her (Facade and Rest were my two Cute moves, with some Dig thrown in there). Continued on until I beat Winona and then Tate & Liza, then used Dive to catch my final member, Ali the Clamperl (after my first gf), who I then evolved into Gorebyss with an Evo Editor. And I am currently about to fight Wallace in the Sootopolis Gym. I did take screenshots like I always do, so check those out!
