Please follow these rules carefully - if you don't, I will probably ignore your application.
Being a beta tester for Rocket Edition means you'll get access to the final version right away, and if you do a good job I might credit you in this thread or in the game's credit sequence.
But this comes with a few responsibilities: You must be prepared to play through the game many times over in the next few days - deliberately trying to break it from every possible angle you can. If you don't contribute to finding bugs, I will not give you any credit after release - please only apply if you're serious about helping out. (A cleaner, bug-free version of the game will be available in just a few days, so if you want to take your time, I'd encourage you to simply wait.)
To apply to be a beta tester, do the following:
- Join the game's Discord server.
- Play through the current publicly available version (Beta v3) and find a bug (if you're lost for ideas, you can look through the #bug-reports channel on Discord and try to replicate one that's been found already).
- Take a screenshot of the bug and send it to me (via PM here or Discord DM), along with your emulator and hardware setup, as well as a brief description of the steps you took to produce it.
Once you've done this (and I've approved it), I'll add you to a special Discord channel where you'll get access to the patch for the final version, so you can start hunting for bugs.
