  • Here, you can post a photo of the layout of your desk, computer or study area. Try to keep them in spoilers or if it's really big (ie. >2 MB), then just post a link.

Here's the twist: you can post a scavenger hunt for items on your desk, so we can find them.

    I'll start off.

    Spoiler:

Can you find? (in order of difficulty):

    • A Gameboy Colour
    • A Ferrari
    • A laptop HDD (not in the laptop)
    • A Guns 'N Roses emblem (almost impossible. The round one with the gold border if it helps)
EDIT: I'm going to clean the desk out, now. I don't even use that screen...

  • I thought that the laptop HDD (not in the computer) was in that static resistant bag to the left of his power button on the HP DV1000-ish computer.

(I'll post up mine later when I get a chance)

You're right about the location and the computer model. *gives gluten-free cookie* :D

Guys, you should probably hide the comments about locations, but meh.

That's really tidy, Ctep; anyone else willing to give it a go?

  • Go ahead and try again Archer, I changed up the list of things since it is rather hard to see my tablet. (it's on the bottom shelf in the first picture, the Esata cable was below it)
    also here's your list
iPod Touch - In front of LCD Screen
Orange Juice - In a glass on the wooden cabinet
    Graphics Tablet - ???
Third external hard drive - Next to Orange Juice? nope.
A Windows Anytime Upgrade Vista dvd case - Clear case on top shelf of cabinet Not quite
    My eSata cable - ???
and one for a challenge, My Nalgene water Bottle - First image, bottom-right corner.

  • Oh, is that the HDD on the shelf of the second image? Back-right of the shelf, or is that one you mentioned? Also, I thought that was the Vista case with the curvy corner? What did you mean by "not quite"?

    • Scrubs seasons DvDs - Behind the Orange Juice. Go Scrubs!
    • Video cable adaptor - Is that it, under the screen? The white thing?

  • Hey guys; you managed to spot the breadcrumbs, I see ;P But the thing in front of the right speaker is actually throat spray, heh. So where is the glue stick?

  • My next guess for the glue stick is in the pencil bag.
Archer: what I meant by not quite, is that you are correct that the case with the curved corner is indeed a microsoft product case, however it was originally a Live OneCare box recycled as a storage for beta DvDs. Keep looking. As for your guess with the video adapter, look a little lower, the white thing under the screen is actually my power block.

  • I actually meant the white thing behind the iPod Touch. What is that?
I guess the adaptor is the white USB thing next to your Graphics Tablet?
And would that be the Vista case in the blue-green case, next to the dummies books?

    I'm bad at this.

Oh, Fantomix, are you refering to what looks like a Bostik Blustick?

  • Ok you got all of them.
That white blcok behind my iPod is actually a second wall plug I can use on my power brick that allows me to use 2 prong outlets. It comes in really handy when traveling because it means I don't have to lug around that long 3 prong extension that the power brick is currently plugged into. (also that 'dummies book' as actually my textbook for Mac OS X Support Essentials which allows me to gain certification as an Apple Authorized support member. I'll be getting the hardware support book after they revise it for the unibody notebooks.)
