New manga tells origin of Pok?mon, shows unused designs

Props to Cherrim for doing translations - check them out, and the prototype Pokemon! First time we've seen some of these, which is super neat imo.

It's a shame; I thought those were pretty good.

Interesting stuff. Those unused pokemon designs are good. Should of kept them.

I'm definitely gonna pick this manga up when I'm in Japan. It seems really cute and I'd love to learn more details about how he came up with Pokemon. I mean, we've known the vague details for decades from interviews and whatnot, but this just feels so much more personal.

That shark reminds me of Mega Sharpedo to some extent xD... Wonder if it was inspired by it.

I wish there was more! I'd love a copy. Hopefully there'll be scanlations.
