Teams for Each Generation?

Gonna share the pokemon I used for each generation, as well as my general thoughts on the strength of the teams at the end. Please feel free to do the same! I'd love to hear what teams you guys used.

Generally speaking, there's very little in each team I dislike. There are a few times where I used a pokemon out of stubbornness despite their strength in battle, specifically the shiny Linoone I found, but for the most part I think the teams were very solid. Johto and Kalos were probably the strongest all around. Gen 3 was easily the weakest because of the Linoone I mentioned using on my team out of pure determination to use a shiny, although my Unova team probably won't be making any headway if placed into any sort of competitive situation. Sinnoh was easily the hardest to raise, mostly because Milotic took forever to find and Gliscor as well as Gallade had really tedious things needed before they would evolve. (Finding a dawn stone in the underground was pure HELL, don't ever try it.)

Trying to do this from memory

Gen 1: (Yellow) Pikachu, Butterfree, Pidgeot, Venasaur, Blastoise, Charizard. Completed the game several times with this team, I've never fully finished Red or Blue, but I did solo it with a Raticate.

Gen 2: (Silver) Feraligatr, Noctowl, Umbreon, Jynx, Sandslash, Bellosom

Gen 3: (Leaf Green): Blastoise, Victreebel, Joleteon, Fearow, Dugtrio, Haunter.

Gen 4: (Platinum) Empoleon, Crobat, Leafeon, Lickilicky, Garchomp, Houndoom

Gen 5: (White, currently still playing through) Samourott, Zebstrika, Silygliph, Lilligant, Stoutland, and I want Haxorus for the final spot.

Gen 6: Never played X/Y, Omega Ruby team was Sceptile, Metagross, Greninja, can't remember the rest.

Gen 7: Original Sun team: Primarina, Miltank, Magnezone, Turtonator, Alolan Raticate, I don't remember the 6th spot.

Playing through Ultra Sun, and my current team is: Primarina, Alolan Muk, Tsareena, Gengar, Gigalith, and Talonflame.

Most of these I've played through within the past 3 years, so it's not too hard remembering.

Ultra Moon: not yet started or even taken the seal of game, do plan on playing a Alola only team

-Overall, there weren't any pokemon I've used that were too terrible. They were all reliable and enough to get me through the games. I don't believe there is a pokemon that is 'too late' to use, as I've used a bunch of late-game pokemon myself such as Dhelmise, Froslass, Scizor, Bouffalant etc. You just have to use it a lot before the Elite Four. I haven't included 2nd run throughs because that would clog up this post even more.
