(edited title to be as dissonant and stupid as humanly possible)
Inspirations to give people some idea on how this RP will play out: SCP Foundation, Some Creepypastas, Eraserhead, Spooky's House of Jumpscares, Aperture Science, Undertale, Pokemon, Gravity's Rainbow (AKA, "how do you read this book?"), pineapple
So, I thought I should really put more effort into opening up a RP of my own, regardless if people don't care for it or not. I can't let my insecurity prevent me from trying. Here's a crude layout for a weird Horror RP. I want to see if people are up for the idea.

THE INSTITUTION
Excuse the crudity; this is just a rough outline of my RP that I hope to polish up in the future, though I'm not sure what else to add. Some info may seem a little disorganized; if anything feels too incoherent, I would like to know so I can fix it (I'm hoping everyone gets the general idea here). Also, this is a great opportunity for people to ask questions about anything regarding the RP, as I can set up some sort of FAQ section up there. However, if there's any questions regarding lore or backstory, I want to clarify this from the start: some things are deliberately left ambiguous.
It may seem a bit evident to some of you, but the idea was heavily inspired by the works deriving from the SCP foundation. Admittedly I'm not an avid fan, but I've always appreciated their outlandish creativity and wanted to utilize that sort of setting somehow. This RP was created from a few unused concepts, particularly from my delayed Pokemon RP -- it borrows the exact same premise, with players taking on the roles of "monsters" and the GM taking on the role of the "human caretaker".
(I thought about posting this in my other thread since it's not "that" old, but I am still holding onto that Pokemon RP, so I wanted to make a separate thread for this different idea. Sorry if I'm cluttering the forum)

PROJECT: PENE-EXCLAVE
OOC | IC | BLAH | LINK | STUFF | MAYBE FAQ | ACCOLADES THE INSTITUTION
Mankind spent many centuries deciphering the secrets of the universe, gradually expanding their knowledge and understanding of the unknown. From discovering fire to mastering the cataclysmic powers of the Atom, the advancement of science quelled our fears and enabled us as a species to detain any threats that could endanger our position as the apex predator. But contrary to the notion, we humans are not as prominent as we believe ourselves to be. Especially, when we are but a speck among the endless mass of life that occupies this very strange universe. There are still many enigmas that have yet to be fully explored or even toughed upon, and some of these aberrations can even leave the majority of us very vulnerable when left unchecked.
OUR GOAL
Our Institution was built on the foundation of international security and absolute protection against unseen syndromes; it is our job to contain any and all anomalous entities, and it is our job to understand them here in our facilities. Our operations shall remain secret to the rest of humanity. Whether our ethics and methods are valid or moral is completely irrelevant. We must work outside those boundaries when dealing with elements that defy against our very perception of reality.

WELCOME, SUBJECT #[---]
You have been officially classified as [DATA CORRUPT] which belong to a series of anomalous entities that possess a level of sentience akin to humans. As you are capable of understanding the language of our species, our personnel wish to inform you of your situation. Our strict efforts to keep you quarantined within our facilities is a necessary step to keep the world intact and safe; your very presence poses a great liability to the foundations of reality. Rest assured, this will only be a temporal procedure and we will willingly release you from containment after a successful rehabilitation.
You have been designated to [SECTOR 13], where you will coexist with other [DATA CORRUPT]. You and your inmates will under constant surveillance by one of our personnel. They have willingly volunteered to monitor your progression for a certain period of time, with possible elongations if end results seem too inconclusive. He or she will routinely conduct a series of social experiments that you must all partake in to avoid termination. These tests will emulate simple scenarios that gauge your fundamentals in cooperation and reciprocation to give us insight on your grasp on our norms as a society. In other words, we would like to ensure that you mean no harm as an individual before we proceed to facilitate your rehabilitation.
We also encourage you to interact with our personnel, regardless if they seem apprehensive on the notion. Direct contact is strictly prohibited as well as any form of telepathy and memetics (i.e., contagious information that is seamlessly transferred via any viral transmissions), but our facilities enable a two-way communication system that will allow you to make any inquires or even simply converse. If you have any complaints about our staff and believe they are either infringing on your rights or expressing negligence to their tasks, feel free to file in a report by pressing the red button inside your respective containment cells and we will see to it that they are to be immediately reprimanded of their position.
Any necessary essentials such as food or water will be manually distributed by the staff assigned to your sector. Requests for additional resources as well as any specific items can be made, so as long as they do not infringe on any of our safety policies and. Note, disobedience or active hostility towards our personnel can result in their daily rations or items being forfeited in order to serve as a minor penalty for any deviant behavior.

DOSSIER: These are catalogued documents regarding the subject. Data distribution can vastly vary as information were gathered from various sources, sometimes even from the subject themselves. Please detail a synopsis that adequately details the following;
HAZARD(s): A general assessment that details how dangerous the subject is, based on a combination of their behavior and abilities. Please provide any helpful warning labels (e.g. electrocution upon contact) that can betoken any potential danger for our personnel so that they may take the necessary precautions to follow our strict safety protocols. We do not want to expend our limited efforts tediously removing corpses from our facilities. Thanks.
PROCEDURE(s): Any specific security measures that will reliably keep the specimen in check and adequately tamed. It will also mitigate any safety risks provided the subject presents any genuine danger, making it easier for our personnel to avert the inconvenience of death. Contingency plans, in case subject escapes captivity, would also prove most helpful.
DESCRIPTION: The description of the subject's appearance; can drastically vary among individuals, ranging from a humanoid to amorphous entities. Alternatively, the use of visual depictions has been authorized by senior administration.
PSYCHOLOGICAL PROFILE: Data on the subject's temperament or "personality", detailing how they would react under various circumstances, et cetera.

- A summarized overlook on their biology, intelligence and the nature of their abnormality
- Fail safes that suppresses their anomalous effects to prevent them from fluctuating too erratically
- Primary form of sustenance they may require; some examples include basic essentials such as food and water, the souls of the damned, happiness, plastic toys, ceramic, pineapples...
- And lastly their origin, provided such data is both readily available and not classified by senior administration.

SECRET
The Basic Premise
In this experimental psychological Horror Sand-Box RP (rated M), Players will exclusively take on the role of an anomalous entity. Whether you choose to be some sort of eldritch abomination that secretes high-octane nightmare fuel, or choose to be a super cute goo-like creature that just wants to hug everyone with overwhelming elation; something about you is... off. You do not belong in this world and your every existence could easily compromise reality. Ergo, you are very dangerous, and regardless of your personal intentions as an individual, you are confined to a cruel world of imprisonment for humanity's sake and will remain completely isolated from the outside world.
Players will be placed under the holding area designated as Sector 13, which has been greatly expanded in part of Project: Pene-Exclave; a series of social experiments that study the interactions between anomalous entities in the same environment as well as how they would interact with the personnel that will be observing them. As mentioned earlier, players that remain inactive will basically get terminated (i.e, killed to death with extreme prejudice). Players that decide to break any rules that typically apply to most RPs (power-play, god-modding, harassment of other members, ect..) will also be terminated.
The GOAL of the RP is to escape, or if at the very least survive all the crazy and wacky (or mind-screwy) experiments that come their way.
Though there will be some very goofy motifs and gags, this RP is horror themed at its core. The horror elements play out a little differently. There is a mutual fear between test subjects and the staff that will be monitoring them; The anomalies can easily overpower the lone researcher that is preventing them from escaping the facility they're trapped in. BUT, the researcher has access to various functions in Sector 13 that practically dictates the fate of most subjects. Constantly acting hostile and suspicious will put the researcher on high alert and they are more likely to harm or even terminate certain subjects out of paranoia.
At the same time, there will be many moments where the lone researcher will commune with the subjects; after all, the researcher is also isolated from other humans and they will get very lonely. Whether you choose to exploit this critical moment of vulnerability or not really depends on what sort of character you want to play out as. Maybe you want to be genuine about friendship. Maybe you just want to see the whole world burn. Or maybe it's Maybelline.
It's probably evident that interaction is a huge focus here; whether you socialize with your inmates (provided they can communicate verbally) or the researcher assigned to Sector 13, there's gonna be a lot of conversing and getting to know each other. This practically takes place in a cell, so better get used to your fellow captives!
The lone researcher will serve as a very meta representation of the GM, given they basically run the whole story with their experiments and have identical functions. To avoid any confusion, there will be moments where the researcher will ask the subjects to do something specific -- that does not mean subjects must comply all the time. In-story rules and my rules are mostly separate from each other. While I don't want to endorse any behavior that would flat-out disrupt the flow of the story, I do want to encourage people to create some tension between characters to give some sort of urgency in their predicaments.
