Name: Cicero Woodbury
Age: 12 ½
Sex: Male
Dorm: Entei Dorm
Appearance: Cicero could be considered to be a sorta typical looking guy for his age. He is 5'5 with light blue eyes and his hair is brown, straight, poofs in the front with the help of styling gel he uses every day, and goes down to about the middle of his neck. He typically wears Tropical shirts, some color of jeans (more often than not, green), his favorite yellow and gray tennis shoes, and a necklace with an emerald in the center of it that he got from his dad. He has a slight slouch and moves a little slower, but that doesn't affect his battling too much.
Personality: Cicero is friendly to people, but can be a little awkward around some people, specifically people he wants to impress. He was taught from a young age to be accepting of others and always look on the bright side of life. Cicero has a lot of passion for training for his future, but can be a little lazy when it comes to writing and the more "intellectual" parts of school. He's a lovable and approachable kid when you get to know him, which isn't uncommon for him. Cicero has always been attracted to grass and ghost type Pokémon, believing that they create a perfect strategy of applying status effects and being sneaky. He also likes them since he thinks they're the cutest.
History: Cicero is originally from Coumarine City in the Kalos region. He grew up near the ocean, since his father and mother were both fisherman, which was the source of food and income. Along with his mom and dad, he also lived with his Uncle Tristan and his cousin, Tristan's daughter, Claudette. Claudette is two years older than Cicero, but that didn't stop them from being best friends. They explored the city and often went on small adventures on Route 12, but never without Tristan, who usually worked odd jobs for small amounts of money, meaning he had a lot of free time for the kids.
On his tenth birthday, Cicero was gifted Dizi the Pumpakboo from his mom and dad as his starter Pokémon. Cicero was loved Dizi immediately, but Dizi took some time to warm up to him. It took a while, and numerous of tricks and pranks on the whole family, but Dizi became one of them family. The two played a lot with Claudette and her own starter Pokémon, a Mime Jr. named Darby, and they often had small Pokémon battles, for fun, but this ignited the spark for battling for Cicero. Cicero began watching battles on tv, from gym battles, elite four battles, to classic re-run battles starring famous battlers, such as Cynthia or Diantha.
When Cicero was about 11 ½ years old, his parents and his uncle got into a big fight while they thought him and Claudette were sleeping, but in actuality, they were eavesdropping behind a closed door. The fight had been building up over time, but it was mainly about how Tristan wasn't supporting the household enough and he needed to do more to help, or else. The next day Tristan announced that him and Claudette would be moving to Alola, causing everyone to be alarmed. After debates from both the adults and the kids, they decided it was for the best if they moved. With a heavy heart, and many tears, the family was split apart within 2 months. Cicero and Claudette write each other very often, hoping that they will see each other soon.
After practicing with Dizi and learning more from his mom and dad, Cicero applied for the Pokémon Trainer Academy, and eventually heard the amazing news that he was accepted on his potential for battling. This excited the family, but worried the parents since this meant a lot of money was going to be needed. They had to work extra hard, both picking up extra small jobs, but they finally raised enough for Cicero to attend. Cicero was ecstatic, to battle for real, to learn more about Pokémon, and for a new life.

Opening Post: Cicero was sitting in his room, silently, looking around and remembering everything that has led up to this point. He remembered waking up and first seeing Dizi, who was now sleeping on his bed that had no sheets on it. He remembered reading the first letter from Claudette from Alola, which he now has lying on his desk, next to a picture they took on the day they left. He smiles at both the picture, the letter, and the sleeping cutie on his bed.
"Cicero!" His mother was calling from downstairs. Cicero grabbed the letter and picture, stauufed them into his backpack and ran downstairs.
His mom and dad were by the open door, looking like they were ready to physically go, but were not mentally prepared yet. "Got everything!" Cicero said looking at his parents. "Everything?" his father questioned It suddenly hit Cicero and he yelled in response in the general upstairs area, "DIZI! C'MON!" After a few seconds, Dizi came floating down the stairs, fresh from a small nap, ready to head out.
"Alright, you got your necessities, clothes, personal stuff, Dizi's Poke ball, as we-" Mom started to say but was cut off by and impatient Cicero who said "Yah Mom! I triple checked everything, like you said, and I am ready to go." Mom stopped for a second and went outside, with Dad followed quickly behind with a small chuckle. They were both dressed in their fisherman gear, since they still had to work today.
Before Cicero went outside, he looked around the living room and kitchen and anything else he could see inside the only home he has ever known. He looks at Dizi, who seems to be dozing off, and nods for her to head outside. He takes the doorknob, and closes the door, ready to go to the docks and take a ship to go open the next grand door.
