Appearance: Seth is 5'7" tall, with buzzed black hair. His complexion is fair, with piercing blue eyes being the highlighting feature of his face. Seth is well built, but a beat up leather jacket is always covering his physique. Beneath the jacket is usually a white or black t-shirt. In the jacket lining is space for his six Pokeballs. He is also usually clad in a pair of ripped blue jeans and sneakers.

Personality: A single word to describe Seth would simply be "competitive". Seth has always been raised with a battling mind in Pokemon, and pushes his Pokemon to be the best in that sense. He is outgoing, but often challenges others in a variety of ways (pokemon battles / races / etc). A flaw with Seth would that he can be too competitive which causes him to lose sight of the "big picture". He's also afraid of swimming.

History: Seth grew up in Cherrygrove City, with his mother and father. They lived a quiet life, and Seth was always watching Pokemon battles on television in order to become a Pokemon Trainer himself one day. When Seth applied for the Pokemon Trainer Academy and got accepted into the Entei dorm, he was overjoyed with himself. He was fully ready to go, except for one thing.

Seth never got to swim to the Island that was just outside of Cherrygrove City. Not knowing how to swim was something that probably had something to do with this, but he was determined to go see it before he left town. He waded his way out into the water and let the current take him away closer to the small island. However, things turned out for the worst as he started to sink and couldn't get back up to the surface.

The next thing he knew, he was washed upon the shore, by himself in the middle of the night. He wasn't sure what or who came and got him out of the water, or if he just washed upon the shore, but he never spoke a word of it and headed home and to bed. Before Seth left, his father gifted him with his Heracross and Machop in order to jump start Seth's journey at the Pokemon Trainer Academy.

Personality: Seth's Heracross is a very serious Pokemon. Loves to battle, no time to joke around. Doesn't get along too well with Seth's Machop because the Machop is much more outgoing and fun than the Heracross.

The sounds of the ocean waves crashing against the hull of the ship taking Seth Cruz to the Pokemon Trainer Academy filled the air around him as he gazed toward the island that seemed like it was hours away even though it was in his eyesight. Seth drew in a breath of deep air as he stood at the front of the boat, his hands firmly on the railing. He looked down and saw his white knuckles gripping the railing of the boat. Looking beyond the railing was the ocean, and the waves that crashed against the boat itself. He took a quick step back in order to calm himself.

"Nothing really has been the same since I almost drown" Seth thought to himself, as he took a moment to adjust to the rocking of the ship, as the waves have gotten a little more intense the closer to the Academy they get. He adjusted the black sunglasses that sit on his nose in order to scan the environment around him, and make sure that nobody saw through his composed facade. "I can't wait to be off this boat" he thought to himself.

Seth reached inside the pocket of his leather jacket and pulled out his acceptance letter to the Pokemon Training Academy. Reading through it gave him instructions on his to get to his dorm and what to do his first day on campus. It felt like forever since he left the ship from Cherrygrove City, passing the island which he almost drowned at on the way out was a surreal experience. There wasn't anything on the island itself, but Seth wanted to be there.

Maybe his competitive nature was just too much for him to handle at times.

With a few more hours until the ship landed at the Training Academy, Seth took the time to go back to his room and sleep off some of this seasickness before starting his journey at the Academy.

Appearance: Seth is 5'7", which is fairly average for his age. He sports a buzzed black haircut, and a fair complexion. The most noticeable feature on his face is his piercing blue eyes, which are an icy blue. He is usually seen in a black leather coat with a white t-shirt underneath. In the jacket lining is a place for all of his Pokeballs for his active party. He usually is wearing a pair of ripped blue jeans and sneakers.

Personality: If there was one word to describe Seth, it would simply be "competitive". Seth is always challenging himself and his Pokemon to be better in every way. He is a very hard battler (or so he thinks), and looks to always grow himself. He is outgoing and usually challenges others to Pokemon battles or other things (such as races) in order to make everything a competition. A flaw with Seth is that sometimes his competitiveness causes him to lose sight of the "big picture", and lose focus on his goals. Also, he's terrified of water.

History: Seth grew up in Cherrygrove City, where he lived for his entire life with his mother and father. He didn't venture out much, but despite the city not having a gym, he was always watching Pokemon battles on TV in order to figure out battle strategies for his eventual Pokemon training adventure.

He applied to the Pokemon Training Academy and was accepted into the Entei dorm, and Seth was extremely excited to go. However, he had never gotten a chance to get out to the island that was just outside of Cherrygrove City, so one night before he left, Seth decided that he was going to swim out to the island, despite not knowing how to swim. He waded into the water and was swept away into the current of the water.

The next thing he knew, he woke up on the shore, not knowing who or what drug him away and to safety. He went home and never spoke of it to anybody, and the question of what saved him was never answered.

A few days later, his father gifted him his Machop and Heracross to hopefully jump start his adventure at the Pokemon Training Academy.

Also, I'll do my best to make sure everyone is in a class they requested, but I also don't want to put people in classes by themselves. This may mean you end up in a class you didn't request (for that particular IC day) but I'll try to make sure it's still a class that makes sense for your character. You wouldn't be put into the Bug-Type Class if your character had no Bug Pokemon or no Pokemon with an type advantage or weakness to Bug types, as an example.

Harry could be best described as a reedy fellow, standing at 5'6" and possessing a rather slim body, his teenage metabolism in full swing, keeping him at a permanent twig-width, despite the amount of food he manages to consume. Being an awkward teenager, Harry is a little more leg than he is torso and lacks the natural balance that may find itself with a regular human being, and his arms are a tad bit longer than most people's. His walk can best be described as, "The Sasquatch," as his natural slouch, swinging arms, and long strides give him an ape-like gait.

On the note of the rest of his features, he's got a rather angular face, with messy ear length light brown hair, framing it in a constant in a state of disarray. His eyes are deeper on the hazel side, his skin on the fairer, and his chin on the larger. Despite his rather unintimidating appearance, his voice is surprisingly deep. As far as clothing goes, Harry typically rolls with a more casual style of dress, usually choosing khaki cargo shorts (specifically) and darker blue jean, with various t-shirts of varying bold colors and flannels.

A word to describe Harry would be mellow.

Harry is very quiet and relaxed at any given moment in time, not speaking very often unless spoken to, and hardly reacts to any issues that might arise. Whether it is due to low energy levels, poor reaction time, or simple indifference, it is unclear to the outsider. Really, Harry simply internalizes all reactions, emotional or otherwise. Because of this feature he comes off as incredibly adaptable, and cool. He seemingly never angers, rolls with punches well, his face staying calm the one constant in a sea of uncertainties. Although he is rather capable, as far as being a student goes, he tends to procrastinate, often stressing himself internally, of course, and he often finds himself accidentally turning in hastily done work. The "Everything will be work out" lifestyle is one that he would walk to the ends of the Earth, and typically things do work out. When they don't, however, one may find him in a miserable state of existence, frustrated by his inabilities. Still, this unnatural serenity pairs oddly with his rather dry, deadpan sense of humor that entails a good deal of sarcasm, fake self-praise He's not nearly as arrogant as his jokes might show, and sarcastic comments on the current situation. Those who do not know him often find it hard to tell if he is joking or not, as Harry's voice rarely changes from a monotone drone, although it can often be guessed.

Harry holds off on this sort of comment, however, until he feels comfortable with the conversant. Until then, he takes an incredibly neutral, polite stance. It is not until he truly feels he can be himself that the truly energetic, passionate trainer comes out in him, as it does exist, though he rarely sees the light of day. While physically lethargic, Harry is quite smart. He's got a good grasp on the more advanced ideas of battle, a decent idea of how the world works, and an odd, but effective take on how to socialize. Really, he relates every situation to himself through obscure logic and convoluted, strained ideals, but it ends up working out for whatever reason. Having a thorough understanding of himself, and as an extension, others around him, has made him very understanding and patient, and there is a drive in him. While not positive on what pushes him forward himself, he has determined that he is supposed to help others, though he isn't sure how.

History:

Harry is from Cerulean City, the son of a couple local business folk, who owned a local restaurant. He had a somewhat normal, comfortable early life, devoid of any freak accidents or other such tragedies, while also lacking particularly amazing moments. He was deadpan from the start, his humor dry from an early age, and the only thing he seemed interested in was making friends and helping others with random tasks, even if he had no place being there and stood as nothing more than moral support. Still, at age 10 he became a trainer because it was expected of him. Harry never felt any particular reason to be one, though he did appreciate the company his Pokemon provided him. While he received Sap as a gift from his parents first, he caught Sediment shortly after. The trio often found themselves exploring Cerulean, getting into small amounts of trouble here and there. They grew stronger, very slowly.

After some prodding from his parents, Harry begin to battle with other trainers. He showed aptitude after he understood the basics, and did fairly decently with his small team, though he put no real effort into improving for a couple years. Still, his basic understanding and knowledge led him to become one of the more well known trainers. He even felt a little pride in his abilities as he improved naturally.
[*]The lack of work he put in, however, caught up to him. Harry suffered an embarrassing loss to one of the weaker trainers in town, if not the weakest, due to simple oversights and mistakes. As a result of this, he became the laughing stock of the trainers for a few days. To him, a few days lasted years, and he fell into a state of disappointment. Never before had he been embarrassed like that. He knew he was stronger than the trainer.

The letter from the Pokemon Trainer Academy arrived shortly after this. While he wasn't quite in the mental state for such a large decision, Harry had reasoned that it would be better for him to attend. He had to get stronger. He had to improve. If anything, to avoid another situation like the loss. Still, this was a chance to change himself for the better and find the thing he was born to do.

Personality: Sap is a polar opposite of his trainer. Energetic, curious, outgoing. Really, the perfect antithesis of Harry. The two have a strong relationship, regardless, and work together surprisingly well when Sap isn't running straight into danger. He often looks to his other two friends to get him out of the trouble he brings to them.

PERSONALITY

Corinna is a sarcastic teenager that thrives on productivity. Success and self-discipline motivate this young woman to a better tomorrow. That isn't to say she doesn't indulge in what she considers fun activities - reading, researching, training, exercising, socializing with her brother. Her family and Pokémon alone are more than enough to keep her socially content, hence her reserved and quiet nature towards others. Despite her lack of motivation to seek others Corinna spends a generous amount of time improving herself to impress, were the occasion to arise.

Being able to learn everything there is to know excites the young woman, hence her want to excel in any topic she deems interesting. This can be partially thanks to her determination and patience with work. This patience, unfortunately, is not carried over in social situations. Corinna may come off as uncaring and apathetic. Furthermore she prefers to avoid conflict to save herself from being burdened by dilemmas.

Despite being productive Corinna seems to love to find the easy way out. Accomplishing tasks with minimal effort, yet with satisfactory results, is what she does best, regardless of consequences and/or individuals involved. Ironically despite her accomplishments she avoids attention, easily suffocated by such.

HISTORY

Corinna is the second child, and only girl, to a middle-class family in Mossdeep City. Having grown in the shadow of her older brother deprived her from their attention, and thus relied on her brother for this. Fortunately she was blessed with a sibling who was more than willing to bond with Corinna, going as far as gifting her his Beldum for her tenth birthday.

Accomplishments and success is her family's major priorities. Brother Troy carved the path for Corinna with his passion for exploration, aiding her both in school and hobbies. However, she could only run so fast before stumbling. She was not as physically fit, witty, attractive, or social as Troy. This caused for her desire to push herself to the limits to garner her family's attention. Because of this she happily accepted Troy's Beldum, goal shifting to that of a career and life her brother never pursued - A Pokémon Trainer. The career never interested him like the explorations of the unknown did. While he dove with the Wailmers and interned in Mossdeep Space Center, Corinna focused on researching Pokémon.

Her future plan to apply for the Pokémon Trainer Academy was done not out of want, but to fill the need of attention from her parents. And it was met with great success. They applauded her choice, taking pride in a child pursuing a path Troy had refused to pursue for years. While it allowed Troy to relax due to the parents' focus shifting to Corinna, he was aware she was not ready for their pressure.

Overtime the young teen experienced an onslaught of difficult expectations, lectures, and restricted freedom. As a consequence Corinna became more reserved, obedient, and developed a desire to impress. These traits destroyed the bubbly, outgoing, risk-taking girl Troy had grown with. Yet he adapted, not wanting to abandon her like many of her comrades have over the change.

Her research and schooling led her to develop an unrequited adoration for steel-types; strong, powerful, defensive, daunting, all traits Corinna wished she possessed. With Beldum, she began to narrow her team to only steel Pokémon, determined to triumph the world as a steel-type specialist.

Upon her acceptance to the Pokémon Trainer Academy Corinna was gifted a newly hatched Piplup.

So... this is going to be my first RP, so I'm Sorry if i make a beginner's mistake or something.

Appearance: Fair-skinned, with dark hair. Also preety tall (5'9") with a slim build. Normally wears a blue shirt and cargo pants, and a dark fleece jacket.

Personality: Oftem quiet, barely talks to anyone and normaly just anwers quention with a "yes","no" or a awkward silence. But in reality, he is just shy and normaly doesn't open up to strangers, no matter how friendly they may be. It might take a full year before he makes some friends in a new place. But once he makes those friends, he is a entirely new person. He talks a lot and looks happy, he plays, and doesn't let anyone harm his friends. Unfortunaly, his family moves quite frequently, so he barely gets a chance to trust someone again. Thats why a very important person in his life gave him a pokemon, so that he would have at least one friend aways by his side, no matter where they are. It didn't take long for him to start battling, and enjoying every moment of it. Instead of browsing the computer for funny Meowth videos, now he spends time in strategy websites, thinking on how he should win the next fight. He is also really interested in pokemon mythology and legends, mainly the Kyurem legend. His dream is to one day walk in the ruins that are all over the world.

History: Cyan was born in Accumula Town, in the Unove region. He had a few friends there, and was known for being kind and curious. Maybe TOO kind and TOO curious. At the age of 5, he went on tall grass without permission and came back full of scarches on his arms and legs, and when asked about what happened he responded "I saw a Pidove and I wanted be his friend!"
One year later, his parents decided that moving to another region would be a good experience to all of them. So why not move to the fashionable region of Kalos? Their next home was Santalune City, where Cyan met the first gym leader in his life, Viola. She teached him some of the basics of battling nad why you shoudn't walk on high grass wihout pokemon (he had already learned this lesson, the hard way). After that, she even asked Cyan if he wanted to go to the academy. Of course he said yes, but there were a couple of problems. The first is that he was only 7, and the second is that he was about to move again. This time, to Alola. To be more specific, Hea-Hea city.
Before he left, he got a small package from Viola. Inside, an egg and a pokeball. This was one of the happiest moments of his life. it would take a full year before the egg finaly hatched, into a Larvesta! By then though his family was moving, again and back to Unova it was. But not Accumula town, oh no. It was Castelia city. Better than nothing, at least. this time he lived a full 3 years in Casttelia, where he finnaly though things had settled down for him and larvesta. Well, sort off..
Cyan would participate in multiple battles and got preety good at it. He even got attention of the Castellia's city gym leader,Burgh. After that, he started challenging the gym multiple times per week, and though he never won once, he and larvesta were happy. Until they had to move. Again. His parents sure knew how to destroy his life, huh? Well, at least they promised that it was definitive now.
So, when Burgh knew Cyan was leaving, he gave him a small present. It was another bug-type, Joltik. Burgh said that this one wold help a lot with a certain flying-type, that was aapparently really anoying were Cyan was going. Well, the anoying pokemon was Wingull, and the place was Slateport city, in Hoenn. So Cyan, Larvesta and Joltik lived there for some time, until he received a letter telling him that he was acepted into the PTA! Now, he is moving (a g a i n) to the little island where PTA is located, ready to fulfill his dream fo becomming a Reasercher on the Legends!

Personality: A really modest pokemon, generaly tries it's best on battle, but gives up as soon as a rock-type enters the field. She also likes to have their own space in the house, just like a little bed or a hammock.
