Whee, now that I have image posting rights, I can showcase my Fire Emblem project. =D

    Game: Fire Emblem (FE7)
    Language: English
    Creator: Iron Shaman/LunaSaint (Same guy >_> )
Warning: Contains some language and references that would make it 12+

    Plot:

Bern's court is in disarray. King Zephiel, after having met a mysterious robed man, has been acting unnaturally and removing various nobles and relatives from the country. Thrown aside, Lord Keyan searches for a new home. However, fate intervenes.

At about the same time, a restless Etrurian noble by the name of (Lord) Pascal (Demourré the third) is frantically searching the lands for somewhere peaceful. Both men get caught up in suspicious activities in a bordering nation, and soon the pair end up learning too much to sit still.

Cults, Organised Crime, Crazy Plots to open the gate to other worlds and Cynical Priest to complain about it all the way. Can Keyan save Elibe without going crazy?

    Features:

~~ A cast of mostly original characters, with a few appearances from original.
    ~~ Several new weapons.
    ~~ Variety in Magic Classes.
~~ Light and Humourus Plot, but retains a serious story.
~~ Increased Variety in Enemies and Difficulty

    Progress:

Gameplay: 95%! I need to beta test this bit really, and Iron Out stuff I've missed.
Nomenclature: 90% I need to decide on a lot of the generic boss names. D: And despite having the plot mostly worked out, I *still* haven't decided on the name for the main villain.
    Plot: 15%
Portraits: 10% There's a lot to do, and it's tedious work. I'll probably be leaving this till after exams.
    Battle Palettes: 20%

    Bugs:

~~ Wierd Portraits/Palettes -[This is expected, really. Refer to the game progress]-
~~ Resets if a scene after chapter 27 is not skipped. Dunno how to work this one. =(
~~ Nomads with Melee Bows sometimes stall the game. Dunno how to fix this one.

Specialty: High movement and ranged attack.
Flaws: Cannot counter melee attacks, mediocre stats for his starting level.

    Chelsea

Fire Emblem: Will of Elimine [Hack of the Month June 2008]

An energetic mercenary knight, and a bit of a tease. Doesn't fear getting her hands dirty.
    Weapons: Swords, Lances, Axes
Specialty: High movement, good stats all round.
Flaws: High stats are impaired by low class maximum.

This looks great! I've never played Fire Emblem before, so it must be good because you hack it, right?
I'll give this a chance. Nice plot by the way ;)

Wow! I'm a big Fire Emblem fan myself, and hacking fire emblem is something I did a bit before. I was going to make a hack of my own (of fe8) but anyways...great hack! Since I've never actually finished fire emblem 7, I'm not sure if there are custom maps, as I can't tell the difference myself. But it still looks amazing, apart from the minor pallette glitches and the fact that you haven't changed Pascals' OW. Good Luck.

I love Fire Emblem... This is gunna be so cool...
Except the....pallettes are a bit bright... Eg. The screen with the "assertive" girl has freakily white skin for both people, especially Keyan.

The faces are Really cool...With a capital R

    @Rabid_Line and amaterasu

yeah, I'm not sure how to change map sprites other than standing ones. I'll have to dig around TLP methinks.

For the palettes, I'd sayt hey're too yellow, not too white. O.o

That's how FE portraits are in general.
With exception to awesome people like Moulder and Renault of course.

This looks really nice. I mean, I can't really tell between other hacks because they're not Fire Emblem hacks, but it's original. And if it's not the Fire Emblem storyline, then it's okay with me. :P

That black-haired girl/woman (can't tell) is really mean, isn't she? XD
Anyway, good luck on this awesome hack, Iron Shaman.

Congats Iron Shaman, you deserve to have won HotM, you have done something nobody else has around here without using the same tiles, palletes, and programs to make it!

Well done, I shall be checking it out!

First of all, "bumping" HotM, because it deserves so.

You should do more major changes in the main engine graphics, the maps graphics in Fire emblem are a bit shitty, and the units are even shittier (in the original, I mean). What pissed me most when I played The Sacred Stones is that it kept the same shitty sprites from the first one, so I strongly believe you shouldn't leave them as they are.
The rest of the stuff looks alright.
