This is a new concept I came up with, so please let me know if there are any flaws. I'll do what I can to fix them.

Background

It was twenty years ago, when Otis Farcey had his dream. A dream of a beautiful empire, ruled by only the most powerful of trainers. Otis lived in Slateport for his whole life. Living on the ocean always made him wonder what was out there. However, he never had enough money to venture out. So, he became a Pokemon trainer instead, and challenged the Pokemon League. He was a revered trainer after a long journey with his Pokemon. He was ready to challenge the Elite Four themselves, but he disappeared one day...

The Story

Hoenn is a land of tropical wather and heavy mythology. The legends state that Pokemon created this land entirely. People created the gyms and Pokemon league of today. It is typical for a trainer, ranging anywhere from ten years old or older, to begin a journey with a faithful Pokemon. Becoming the champion is the ultimate goal of trainers, which they obtain status of by defeating the eight known gyms that are spread across the region. But, unknown to most trainers, there is an orginization that is open only to those elite of the elite. The trainers that are invited to this organization not only have the most powerful Pokemon in the land, but their natural skills are also toned to the extreme. This organization is known as the TSF. This acronym is unknown to all except those who conquer this organization. Trainers that are invited by this organization are pitted against their surroundings in rigorous tests of seven categories; Ability, Spirit, Knowledge, Bravery, Tactics, Guts, and Luck. There have been many incidents where a trainer has not returned from a challenge.

The chosen people this year are to stay in a hotel in the center of the organization's land, known as the Hoenn Battle Frontier. They will each have to challenge several harrowing tests in the duration of their stay. One hundred trainers have been admitted to this frontier. Out of these, only one will be offered the position of the unknown head of the TSF. Good luck to the trainers, and their Pokemon.

The roleplay will begin on the luxury cruise from Slateport City, where the trainers are anxiously awaiting to arrive to this mysterious, new place.

The obvious stuff, no Godmodding, Bunnying, etc.
All Sign-ups/posts must meet minimum requirements at the least. That means all posts must be at least 4 lines. If you can't get four lines into a post, then there must not be a reason in posting.
I hold the right to kick any roleplayer out at any time. If I kick you, and you refuse to leave, I will report you. *First offenses will result in a warning, and second consecutive warning (within a week) or severe offense will result in removal from the roleplay.*
All assigned missions must be completed within the time frame given (almost always being Monday through Friday).
You must be VERY active. It will literally test your dedication, writing, and punctual skills. Be prepared for a lot, here.
Seven trainers will be accepted. I will be playing the part of frontier brains and the officials.
Do not complain that this is not following the games/anime/etc. I do realize this, and it's a totally different story. kthx

Name: Rocky(always use this name don't know why)

Appearance: Rocky is about 4ft-10,he has blue clear eyes and slicked back medium sized white hair(no he's not old!).
He wears a nice red coat with gray sweat pants.His skin is slightly pale and has black sneakers.
His shirt is a blue long sleeve with a rip in on of the sides.He has a small scar on his left eye.
Personality: Rocky is mostly a non social person who enjoys being alone a lot.Rocky also can be very kind and caring without showing it.Rocky also can be very "heroic" at times if someone or something is in danger and no one else is there he will try and help that person/Pokemon in need.
History:Rocky was born and raised like most other kids he went to school,learned,and ate like most kids but he never like playing with others or had any friends(except his Pokemon).When Rocky grew up he was not fond of really anything mostly he sat beside a tree and watched the other kids play(this is around 11 years old).

2 years later

Rocky now enjoys researching Pokemon because they astonish him so.He is quite different then others because his Pokemon are trained and skilled and it's almost like Rocky can talk to them through his mind for when in battle he never says a word and he lets his Pokemon do the talking. hewalks around all the time in forests,caves,anywhere there's Pokemon basically.He is also different then others because he takes the proper time in battle and never rushes anything.then one day he was walking in a forest and he got in a battle with a trainer little did he know he was being watched while battleing and he was watched beating the trainer without saying a word.Then the next day he received an invitation to a place called Slateport City where they were to go on some cruise.

Appearance: Blade is a sceptile who is a little bit more red then green as if he is bloody from a war.
Personality: In battle Blade acts tough,determined and fair and never shows any mercy for the Pokemon he is fighting.Out side of battle Blade acts just like Rocky:Quiet,Non social,and out of the way watching others.
History: Blade was obtained as a treecko for Rocky as his first Pokemon when he was 10 although he was a different color his appearance is not to be made a fool of.Blade has grown alongside Rocky every step of the way tracking enemies,finding food/shelter and Rocky has cared for him very much.

Appearance: Crusher's wings are much bigger than normal,his teeth super sharp,and his eyes blood red.
Personality: Inside of battle Crusher can be a bit over doing it sometimes,and when he is angry in battle you better run for it or he will blow.Outside of battle salamance likes to be alone a lot of the time(doesn't really like people except really Rocky.).
History: Crusher was a little Bagon found by Rocky rampaging all across a cave so Rocky thought he could calm it by catching it so he used Blade(was a Grovyle at the time).Growing up Crusher got more and more calmer and started to get less angry.

Personality: Inside of battle Detonator always makes sure he wins he will try to kill them if needed,and when he is angry in battle there is no safe place to hide.Outside of battle Detonator likes to be alone all of the time(doesn't like people except really Rocky.).
History: Detonator was an Onix who was trapped in a cave while Rocky was exploring a forest so Rocky used Bagon to ram into the cave with Headbutt to free Onix while being able to catch him to heal him.Detonator grew up by the same things he does now:Battle,Train,Battle,Eat,Battle,Train,Sleep and just a teensy tiny bit does he ever have any fun and his fun isn't like most.

Personality: Flare is an Arcanine who is very friendly and enjoys being with others.She is also a very powerful Arcanine,inside battle she tries to make the battles last and have fun she doesn't care if shes wins or loses she just likes to have fun.Outside of battle she is very energetic and enjoys playing with others
History:Flare was a little growlithe who was following Rocky in the Viridian forest and was unhappy when she couldn't find Rocky so he decided to catch her and help her grow and take care of her.She grew as a friendly pokemon very friendly at that she has always liked to play games with others and have some company.

Name: Kevin Ray Billiards
Gender: Male
Age: 27
Appearance: Billiards is a very tall man, standing at 6'7". A fan of grass types he is, so Kevin has his hair dyed green, and the parts look like the leaves of the palm tree. He is granted with innocent sky blue eyes, and a young looking mouth. His build is on the skinny side, around 140 pounds, low for his height. His body is shaded in between medium brown and pale, though he paints it a dark brown. It isn't really all that muscular.

Billiards wears long rectangular reading glasses when reading, observing or studying. For all other occasions, he either wears no glasses or a pair of shades. Also, his face has coconuts painted upon it. It is warm in his home area, which would be near Mt. Chimney. That is why his attire is very light. His usual attire is a thin, brown, short sleeve shirt, and dark brown pants. His shoes are, you guessed it, brown as well.

Personality: Kevin is a very shy person, keeping to himself most of the time. He mostly journeys alone. He becomes very timid when faced with social situations or interviews, etc. He has very few friends as a result of this. Much of Kevin's time is spent exploring and discovering. Hoenn is the region of mythology, and Billiards is not being stopped from learning of how the region was created. Though shy socially, he is not shy in challenging the laws of science or new frontiers.

Patience is a good quality that Kevin has. He rarely gets mad. He can put up with any annoying person. He just ignores the annoyance. However, his disorganization makes many laugh at him. His discoveries are scattered around the house, making it hard for him and his wife, Leah Arobene Billiards, to live in peace. Kevin tries to remain peaceful by singing or playing the clarinet, or training his Pokemon. He is very good at those things. He is also quite bad at sewing, art, technology, woodshop, cooking, sports, and socializing.

History: Kevin was originally a very social kid. He was awesome in school and music, earned top grades and honors, and had a brilliant social life, with 7 close friends, mostly boys, there were two girls. His family, he, two siblings and two parents, were also doing grandly. However, when Kevin turned 9, he was embarrassed in front of his whole school. Kevin was making his "Moving Up" speech when the villainous Jordan "Black Vengeance" Daronius, a 10 year old, told the school who he liked, which was a kid named Juliana Buena, one of his close friends. Kevin looked like he was about to kill Jordan. Billiards sprinted after him, but Jordan was the best athlete in the school. However, both got caught by the principal. They both ended up staying after school, but still got promotion to middle level school. Juliana saw Kevin and Jordan walking out the door as she did her daily bike ride. Juliana parked her bike in the bike rack, walked east to the school, and said to Jordan, "What the crud was that about?" then went over to Billiards. Kevin was scared. But, Juliana said that it was OK. Turned out Juliana liked Billiards as well. Then, after they talked and arranged plans for the night, he was dropped home by Juliana. He continued to be shy toward others, but became natures best friend.

At about 10, Kevin became an explorer. He wanted to find out about nature and the creation of Hoenn. He studied on the computer, since he was restricted by his parents, unable to leave Rustboro, the legends, species of Pokemon, plants found in Hoenn, etc. He was finally able to go out on his own at the age of 15, after finishing Level 10 of school. He met Juliana while going to get a starter. "Hey, Kevin!" she shouted as she rode her high-tech bike into Oldale Town. "Juliana! What's going on?" Kevin said. It turned out that she wanted to become a Pokemon Ranger and Coordinator. So, the two of them journeyed together. Kevin ended up obtaining a Poochyena as his starter. It was injured after being battled by a young novice trainer. So, Poochyena was taken to the Pokemon center. The two enjoyed a wonderful journey together.

Kevin was a good trainer, but all good trainers have to have a rival, and Kevin had a rival that was a real loudmouth. His rival was Drake Ainoze (ayN-ohs-ey). Drake was a great trainer, from Sootopolis City. His starter was a Marill, who defeated Poochyena. Three more times they met, Kevin coming victorious the final time. The gyms that gave Kevin trouble were the first, third, fourth, and sixth. The trainers in the league had a tough time against him, as he got 8th place in the league. In Johto, Kevin got in 4th. His opponent that beat him was Rio Amario, a great, fierce fifth year trainer who went on to win the league. Rio and Kevin met a lot during Kanto (3rd, beaten by Juliana Buena), Sinnoh (1st, beating Buena), Variko (8th, beating Drake, but losing to the tough Regi Whitestone), and trying Hoenn again (1st, beating Amario). The ratio of wins to losses was 1:1, both winning and losing roughly the same amount of battles, their rivalry thick with tension. Then, they went separate ways as Kevin stayed in Hoenn, and Rio moved to his home country, Spain. He was not as successful there, as the trainers were fierce and tough. Juliana went seperate, trying to win a Grand Festival with all of her heart. Juliana and Kevin have not seen each other since. In Hoenn, Kevin remembered his research from 11 years ago and finally got cracking. He explored every area of Sinnoh, the mountains, the seas, the deserts, everywhere. He discovered lots and filed it onto his Camera or sound recorder.

When he was 23, he took a break from exploring and went to Mossdeep City to relax on the beach. Then, a woman about his age took a seat next to him. The woman was Leah Aborene. The two found many common interests. Leah became the first friend Kevin had had in a while. Then, the two boosted it up a level. They dated for two years, then married. He forgot all about his exploration and spent those next two years with her.

Now he is 27. He sees a familiar face out the window. "Hola, Kevin. Come here. Let's go." "Rio," he said. Kevin went out to see him. Rio and Kevin battled. The battle lasted almost a day. It was a very close battle, but Kevin ended up winning. Then, this big, fat, brown haired guy drags Rio toward Slateport. The man brought him on a boat. The boat looked excellent and fancy. "What am I doing here?"

Name: Alice Du' Graciae
Gender: Girl
Age: 17

Appearance: Tall and lean with a few scars here and there, Alice looks a lot younger than you would think. She has dark, ebony hair, naturally deep, red eyes that looked so very sad and pale skin due to long hours spent inside. Sometimes, when Alice is very emotional, flecks of silver and gold appear in her eyes and her hair seems to be a dark shade of red.

Personality: Calm and practical, Alice does not like too much fuss over anything. She gets things done with fast and refuses to toy with people. She's blunt and sometimes her bluntness hurts other people, Alice knows this and regrets it, but knows that the truth, no matter how painful, is better than not knowing something important to you.

Her view of the world is slightly dented, as Alice prefers to stay away from people because she un-nerves others around her. She believes her Pokemon are all she will need and has managed so far. Provoking Alice is often a bad idea, even though it's not an easy feat, a furious Alice is enough to scare even the most bravest of Charizard's and the laziest Snorlax's.

History: Alice was born in a normal family, with both parents, a grandmother and an elder brother. Her brother, whom was called Xavier, was her parents pride and joy and Alice's role model. He was an amazing trainer, had excellent school grades and was a natural at any and every sport. They had all expected great things of him. Then there was an incident when his best friend died during a lighting storm. After, it seemed that a part of him had died away with his friend. Alice kept her mouth closed and offered silent support, her parents however, kept telling him he needed to move on and continue, that his mood would only spoil his future.

One day, it seemed he'd had enough. He just got up and left. Alice never knew what his letter to her parents had said but after that, she finally felt what he'd been through. Her parents began to pile their dreams for her brother onto her. When before they'd never even spare a glance at her grades, now they scrutinized them with a fury she hadn't known. She was given high expectations and had to spend most of her time indoors studying. They compared her to her brother every time her scores were too low for their liking and even if they hid it, she could sense their disappointment.

Alice taught herself how to read people's emotions, everyone around her felt pity and sympathy for her. She didn't want that. She wanted a friend, someone she could trust. Alice began to understand why her brother had been so heartbroken when his best friend had died. There wouldn't be anyone else to hold onto his sanity. She didn't have anyone, but then, her parents gave her a Pokemon of her own. A Piplup. Not capable of understanding the human language and species difference aside, her Piplup, named Empress, after she read that most female Prinplups never evolved further into Empoleons, became her holdline. She trained with it, tried to understand what it wanted, befriended it, and trusted it with her life. On her 14th birthday, it evolved into Prinplup.

That was when her parents noticed her trainer skills and sent her to a Pokemon Trainer Academy in Sinnoh. Alice couldn't have been happier. She spent the days in the school away from other people, but she had her Empress and so never cared. In her 3rd year at the acdemy, the teachers sent the students on a trip around the region with two other Pokemon of their choice. She chose a Dratini and Eevee. When she came back to the academy with her newly evolved Empoleon, Glaceon and Dragonite, they told all the students that some of them will be picked for a special event happening reserved for only certain trainers. The trip around the region had been their entrance exam.

Alice was chosen and sent to Slateport city, Hoenn with her Pokemon. The academy cut off all connections with her family. She had no idea why, but she wasn't sad, relieved, but not sad. Her future awaited.

Nickname: Empress

Personality: Empress was Alice's first Pokemon, so she knows Alice the best. She's loyal to Alice and would do anything for her. Most of the time, Empress is un-readable, an ice statue behind her trainer. However, when she feels like it, she can express her thoughts very clearly.
History: Empress was hatched by a Prof. working in the Sinnoh Region. Alice's parents bought her off the Prof for Alice. She had evolved through tough battles and intense training, both physically and mentally.
Moveset: Ice Beam, Surf, Steel Wing and Grass Knot.

Species: Glaceon
Nickname: -
Appearance: -Attachment.
Personality: Glaceon is one cool Pokemon, she's fast for a Glaceon and very perceptive to Alice's moods. She has an almost rivalry relationship with Dragonite, even if it is sort of one-sided.
History: Glaceon was one of the Pokemon the academy gave to Alice for her journey. She was hatched and raised while an Eevee at the acdemy and knows nothing of her parents. She evolved when they came across an odd ice covered rock on Route 217 while battling a trainer near it.
Moveset: Ice beam, Water Pulse, Dig and Iron tail.

Species: Dragonite
Nickname: -
Appearance: -Attachment.
Personality: Dragonite is fiery, brash and sometimes ignorant, though he means well. He is very attached to Alice and is just as loyal as Empress. He's either oblivious of or ignoring Glaceon when she begins her rivalry. Thus, Alice only ever rarely uses both at the same time in a double battle.
History: Dragonite is a Pokemon the academy gave Alice for her journey, he like Glaceon, was hatched and raised as a Dratini in the academy. Besides Alice, he has never had another trainer. He evolved due to the fact that Alice was using him a lot while fighting trainers.
Moveset: Outrage, Dragon Rush, Fly and Flamethrower.

Name: Lindsay Hearte

Gender: Male

Age: 24

Appearance: Lindsay stands around 6'1 with a broad shouldered build, hazel eyes, normal complexion, medium to short dirty blond hair that without his hat his hair is fairly scruffy while the rest of him is quite untouched he does have a few scars around his body like a nasty scar on his inner right arm and another on the left side of his stomach that goes most of the way down while in the middle of his back is a strange spiral scar that resembles a symbol but it isn't a tattoo.

As for his style of clothing would be black jeans and navy sneakers, a red T-shirt with a black and white jacket though he'll switch to three quarter cream shorts and a blue muscle shirt in much hotter weather but can often be seen with his black and red cap, he also has a silver sleeper in one ear along with a stud in the opposite eyebrow. He's clean shaven and if he can't be bothered changing his clothes for hot weather he can be seen with his jacket over his shoulder which he usually either holds with his hand or has the thing dangling over one shoulder and arm, he also carries a bag with all his needed items for both himself and his pokemon.

Personality: Lindsay is a fairly descent person who just likes to enjoy himself the best he can and do his best with what skills he has but will never push his pokemon to far or allow them to get hurt, that's if he can help it and often uses his skill to adapt to situations when he's battling or in a situation where he'll have to find a way out, and when he's around people Lindsay tends to be rather social if the mood strikes him and he feels that the people would be worth it to be friends with and has been known to be able to befriend anyone as long as their morals won't too far off the chart of his own.

When it comes to temper you won't find a more controlled person then Lindsay as he's got a fairly long fuse and it takes a lot to rub him the wrong way enough to get him to react with anger but certain things people do will have him forgoing that part of him so that he can get up that selected person or teach them a lesson, as for what these are most revolve around the protection of people and pokemon who can't easily defend themselves or are overwhelmed in some way or another but not only this he dislikes people who judge someone on labels, misinformation or stereotypes.

History: Lindsay grew up in Kanto just shy of Fuchsia city which gave him many opportunities to go and sneak into the safari zone as a kid even though he didn't have a pokemon at the time he still enjoyed going in there and seeing all the cool pokemon though sometimes trainers would see him or guards would and they'd give chase only to be interrupted by a passing pokemon, because since he'd been going so often and even sometimes bringing food to the pokemon some of them became protective of him and he loved seeing his poke mates take on the guards and trainers. As he got old enough to go on his journey Lindsay made sure to tell the pokemon of the safari zone that he was going and for them to wait for him to come back so that he could make some of them a member of his team, and so he made his way across his own region to catch pokemon and become a good trainer though he preferred to be a breeder but knew he had to be both to be able to be good at either of them.

Unfortunately for him by the time Lindsay got back to his home town the safari zone had been shut down and Lindsay was the first to go to the former owner and rip him a new one along with many of the guards that used to chase him but it didn't really help matters but one of the guards remembered him and his closeness to the pokemon there, so he told him that the safari zone was closed to visitors but the pokemon and fields themselves were still there and with a little persuading Lindsay was able to be let into the staff entrance and finally faithful his promise to the pokemon there and caught some of the ones he made the promise too while others had already left for some reason or another. After he'd finished all this homecoming Lindsay went on a tour of the other regions so that he could learn about all the new pokemon and other interesting things while also partaking in the regions gyms and sometimes if he was lucky their Elite four as well, and decided to stay in Hoenn for a while so that he could enjoy the Battle Frontier which he'd been given acceptance into and decided to go to periodically to use their facilities while he rents a place at Lily Cove.

Other: Lindsay has succeeded in his attempts on being a breeder and has bred several pokemon that he either keeps or uses on his various teams otherwise he just likes to enjoy the wilderness and sometimes competition that his life as a trainer and breeder allow for him and can often be seen with all his pokemon out on the hills of Battle Frontier or Lily Cove, where he just sits back and enjoys the open air while his pokemon play around him.

Personality: Hydromence is a fairly loyal pokemon that always stands by his trainer as well as those other pokemon on his team and loves to fly around and enjoy the scenery like his trainer does and will often lay down next to Lindsay when he's just enjoy nature and relaxing otherwise in battles he can be quite fierce and is often Lindsay's trump card in many battles.
History: Was bred from a Bagon and a Seadra which was Lindsay's first bred pokemon and has been with him for quite a while so they've grown quite close in recent years if only for the fact that Hydromence considers Lindsay's his parent even though he knows he's got a mother and father but has been with Lindsay a lot longer then he has his parents.

Species: Flareon

Personality: Flareon is a kind pokemon that likes to be close to his trainer but will turn serious when in a battle situation and will fight to his last breath in defense of his trainer or his friends within Lindsay's team though outside of battle aside from staying with Lindsay Flareon likes to wander about the environment she's in and explore since he's gotten used to all the traveling and likes seeing new and interesting places
History: Flareon was Lindsay's first Eevee and was given to him by a friend of his in Kanto who was glad to see Lindsay becoming such a good trainer and it wasn't long before Lindsay evolved him and turned him into one of his strongest pokemon and he has been by Lindsay's side for the longest of any of his other current strong pokemon, he's also the father of the Espeon on Lindsay's team and is proud to be fighting beside his daughter though it does sometimes make him feel old.

Personality: Luxray is a very serious and stalwart pokemon that when in battle acts extremely serious and will barely flinch when being attacked and does his darnedest not to loose though he does know he's not all powerful so he will accept defeat when he has too but outside of battles he's the one that keeps the team together and not causing trouble for other people when Lindsay is resting or relaxing and has often been known to give warning shots to his team mates if they're about to do something stupid.

History: Luxray was found as a Shinx that had lost it's parents when Lindsay was on his way to the Sinnoh region so when he found the little guy he immediately tried to help him and take him to a pokemon centre but was convinced to look around for the Shinx's parents but was shocked to find that they were taken by Team Galactic, and Lindsay was about to confront the buggers but had to avoid a falling crate that the Galactic people threw our of their airship but it was too big to be avoided so Lindsay protected the Shinx and took the brunt of the attack for him and ever since Luxray has been a loyal and strong member of his team.

Species: Espeon
Appearance:

Personality: Espeon is a quiet and young pokemon that likes nothing better then piece and quiet but knows that battles has to be fought and will do so on the command of her trainer or if need be her father which is Flareon, and she also enjoys battling along side him as well as the travels they take which she often does follow when Flareon goes off on a wander.
History: Espeon is Flareon's daughter and her mother is a Vulpix but she didn't learn any moves from her and rarely sees her but she's fine with the travels she's been having with Lindsay and the other pokemon and despite her quiet nature she likes being surrounded by friends and family.

Species: Abomasnow
Nickname: Abomb
Appearance:

Personality: Despite Abomb's size he's not as scary as he seems and is actually quite friendly and loves nothing more then hugging those he cares about but will get very anger if someone tries to hurt them and has been known to go into a rage in an effort to protect his trainer or friends and can only be calmed down by Lindsay or one of his other pokemon.
History: Abomb was found as a Snover in the snowy areas of Sinnoh and Lindsay instantly thought having a grass/ice pokemon was cool and did his best to train the pokemon up and Abomb was fine with being caught by such a cool and loving trainer since he was getting bored with his life on the mountion and wanted to see the world outside of the snowy landscape he knew.

Species: Relicanth
Appearance:

Personality: Relicanth is a lazy pokemon that doesn't like to have to do much aside from lulling around but will do what Lindsay asks him to and will help defend his friends but will otherwise prefer to just lay around and sleep or enjoy the sunlight, because he rarely got any under the sea and likes being out in the sun and in battles he's a very tough pokemon and takes a lot of damage to take down
History: Relicanth was found off Lily Cove when Lindsay was diving in the area because he'd heard you can catch some interesting pokemon under the water so he gave it a try and came across Relicanth who wasn't so easy to catch first up but after one last try he was able to catch him and now Relicanth is one of Lindsay's top pokemon.
Moveset: Hydro Pump, Head Smash, Yawn & Earthquake

Rocky now enjoys researching Pokemon because they astonish him so.He walks around all the time in forests,caves,anywhere there's Pokemon basically then one day he was walking in a forest and he got an invitation to a place called Slateport City where they were to go on some cruise.

History: Blade was obtained as a treecko for Rocky as his first Pokemon when he was 10 although he was a different color his appearance is not to be made a fool of.Blade has grown alongside Rocky every step of the way tracking enemies,finding food/shelter and Rocky has cared for him very much.

History: Crusher was a little Bagon found by Rocky rampaging all across a cave so Rocky thought he could calm it by catching it so he used Blade(was a Grovyle at the time).Growing up Crusher got more and more calmer and started to get less angry.

History: Detonator was an Onix who was trapped in a cave while Rocky was exploring so Rocky used Bagon to ram into the cave to free Onix while still being able to catch him.Detonator grew up by the same things he does now:Battle,Train,Battle,Eat,Battle,Train,Sleep and just a teensy tiny bit does he ever have any fun.

Appearance: Tall and lean with a few scars here and there, Alice looks a lot younger than you would think. She has dark, ebony hair, naturally deep, red eyes that looked so very sad and pale skin due to long hours spent inside.

Sometimes, when Alice is very emotional, flecks of silver and gold appear in her eyes and her hair seems to be a dark shade of red.

Personality: Calm and practical, Alice does not like too much fuss over anything. She gets things done with fast and refuses to toy with people. She's blunt and sometimes her bluntness hurts other people, Alice knows this and regrets it, but knows that the truth, no matter how painful, is better than not knowing something important to you.

Her view of the world is slightly dented, as Alice prefers to stay away from people because she un-nerves others around her. She believes her Pokemon are all she will need and has managed so far. Provoking Alice is often a bad idea, even though it's not an easy feat, a furious Alice is enough to scare even the most bravest of Charizard's and the laziest Snorlax's.

History: Alice was born in a normal family, with both parents, a grandmother and an elder brother. Her brother, whom was called Xavier, was her parents pride and joy and Alice's role model. He was an amazing trainer, had excellent school grades and was a natural at any and every sport. They had all expected great things of him. Then there was an incident when his best friend died during a lighting storm. After, it seemed that a part of him had died away with his friend. Alice kept her mouth closed and offered silent support, her parents however, kept telling him he needed to move on and continue, that his mood would only spoil his future.

One day, it seemed he'd had enough. He just got up and left. Alice never knew what his letter to her parents had said but after that, she finally felt what he'd been through. Her parents began to pile their dreams for her brother onto her. When before they'd never even spare a glance at her grades, now they scrutinized them with a fury she hadn't known. She was given high expectations and had to spend most of her time indoors studying. They compared her to her brother every time her scores were too low for their liking and even if they hid it, she could sense their disappointment.

Alice taught herself how to read people's emotions, everyone around her felt pity and sympathy for her. She didn't want that. She wanted a friend, someone she could trust. Alice began to understand why her brother had been so heartbroken when his best friend had died. There wouldn't be anyone else to hold onto his sanity. She didn't have anyone, but then, her parents gave her a Pokemon of her own. A Piplup. Not capable of understanding the human language and species difference aside, her Piplup, named Empress, after she read that most female Prinplups never evolved further into Empoleons, became her holdline. She trained with it, tried to understand what it wanted, befriended it, and trusted it with her life. On her 14th birthday, it evolved into Prinplup.

That was when her parents noticed her trainer skills and sent her to a Pokemon Trainer Academy in Sinnoh. Alice couldn't have been happier. She spent the days in the school away from other people, but she had her Empress and so never cared. In her 3rd year at the acdemy, the teachers sent the students on a trip around the region with two other Pokemon of their choice. She chose a Dratini and Eevee. When she came back to the academy with her newly evolved Empoleon, Glaceon and Dragonite, they told all the students that some of them will be picked for a special event happening reserved for only certain trainers. The trip around the region had been their entrance exam.

Alice was chosen and sent to Slateport city, Hoenn with her Pokemon. The academy cut off all connections with her family. She had no idea why, but she wasn't sad, relieved, but not sad. Her future awaited.

Personality: Empress was Alice's first Pokemon, so she knows Alice the best. She's loyal to Alice and would do anything for her. Most of the time, Empress is un-readable, an ice statue behind her trainer. However, when she feels like it, she can express her thoughts very clearly.
History: Empress was hatched by a Prof. working in the Sinnoh Region. Alice's parents bought her off the Prof for Alice. She had evolved through tough battles and intense training, both physically and mentally.
Moveset: Ice Beam, Surf, Steel Wing and Grass Knot.

Personality: Glaceon is one cool Pokemon, she's fast for a Glaceon and very perceptive to Alice's moods. She has an almost rivalry relationship with Dragonite, even if it is sort of one-sided.
History: Glaceon was one of the Pokemon the academy gave to Alice for her journey. She was hatched and raised while an Eevee at the acdemy and knows nothing of her parents. She evolved when they came across an odd ice covered rock on Route 217 while battling a trainer near it.

Personality: Dragonite is fiery, brash and sometimes ignorant, though he means well. He is very attached to Alice and is just as loyal as Empress. He's either oblivious of or ignoring Glaceon when she begins her rivalry. Thus, Alice only ever rarely uses both at the same time in a double battle.
History: Dragonite is a Pokemon the academy gave Alice for her journey, he like Glaceon, was hatched and raised as a Dratini in the academy. Besides Alice, he has never had another trainer. He evolved due to the fact that Alice was using him a lot while fighting trainers.
Moveset: Outrage, Dragon Rush, Fly and Flamethrower.

What I meant was that the Battle frontier is only open to trainers with exceptionally well skill. :/ Your history should explain why Rocky is being accepted for this spot. Only seven people are being accepted into this roleplay, why is Rocky different from every trainer out there?

Name: Kevin Ray Billiards

Gender: Male

Age: 27

Appearance: Billiards is a very tall man, standing at 6'7". A fan of grass types he is, so Kevin has his hair dyed green, and the parts look like the leaves of the palm tree. He is granted with innocent sky blue eyes, and a young looking mouth. His build is on the skinny side, around 140 pounds, low for his height. His body is shaded in between medium brown and pale, though he paints it a dark brown. It isn't really all that muscular.

Billiards wears long rectangular reading glasses when reading, observing or studying. For all other occasions, he either wears no glasses or a pair of shades. Also, his face has coconuts painted upon it. It is warm in his home area, which would be near Mt. Chimney. That is why his attire is very light. His usual attire is a thin, brown, short sleeve shirt, and dark brown pants. His shoes are, you guessed it, brown as well.

Personality: Kevin is a very shy person, keeping to himself most of the time. He mostly journeys alone. He becomes very timid when faced with social situations or interviews, etc. He has very few friends as a result of this. Much of Kevin's time is spent exploring and discovering. Hoenn is the region of mythology, and Billiards is not being stopped from learning of how the region was created. Though shy socially, he is not shy in challenging the laws of science or new frontiers.

Patience is a good quality that Kevin has. He rarely gets mad. He can put up with any annoying person. He just ignores the annoyance. However, his disorganization makes many laugh at him. His discoveries are scattered around the house, making it hard for him and his wife, Leah Arobene Billiards, to live in peace. Kevin tries to remain peaceful by singing or playing the clarinet, or training his Pokemon. He is very good at those things. He is also quite bad at sewing, art, technology, woodshop, cooking, sports, and socializing.

History: Kevin was originally a very social kid. He was awesome in school and music, earned top grades and honors, and had a brilliant social life, with 7 close friends, mostly boys, there were two girls. His family, he, two siblings and two parents, were also doing grandly. However, when Kevin turned 9, he was embarrassed in front of his whole school. Kevin was making his "Moving Up" speech when the villainous Jordan "Black Vengeance" Daronius, a 10 year old, told the school who he liked, which was a kid named Juliana Buena, one of his close friends. Kevin looked like he was about to kill Jordan. Billiards sprinted after him, but Jordan was the best athlete in the school. However, both got caught by the principal. They both ended up staying after school, but still got promotion to middle level school. Juliana saw Kevin and Jordan walking out the door as she did her daily bike ride. Juliana parked her bike in the bike rack, walked east to the school, and said to Jordan, "What the crud was that about?" then went over to Billiards. Kevin was scared. But, Juliana said that it was OK. Turned out Juliana liked Billiards as well. Then, after they talked and arranged plans for the night, he was dropped home by Juliana. He continued to be shy toward others, but became natures best friend.

At about 10, Kevin became an explorer. He wanted to find out about nature and the creation of Hoenn. He studied on the computer, since he was restricted by his parents, unable to leave Rustboro, the legends, species of Pokemon, plants found in Hoenn, etc. He was finally able to go out on his own at the age of 15, after finishing Level 10 of school. He met Juliana while going to get a starter. "Hey, Kevin!" she shouted as she rode her high-tech bike into Oldale Town. "Juliana! What's going on?" Kevin said. It turned out that she wanted to become a Pokemon Ranger and Coordinator. So, the two of them journeyed together. Kevin ended up obtaining a Poochyena as his starter. It was injured after being battled by a young novice trainer. So, Poochyena was taken to the Pokemon center. The two enjoyed a wonderful journey together.

Kevin was a good trainer, but all good trainers have to have a rival, and Kevin had a rival that was a real loudmouth. His rival was Drake Ainoze (ayN-ohs-ey). Drake was a great trainer, from Sootopolis City. His starter was a Marill, who defeated Poochyena. Three more times they met, Kevin coming victorious the final time. The gyms that gave Kevin trouble were the first, third, fourth, and sixth. The trainers in the league had a tough time against him, as he got 8th place in the league. In Johto, Kevin got in 4th. His opponent that beat him was Rio Amario, a great, fierce fifth year trainer who went on to win the league. Rio and Kevin met a lot during Kanto (3rd, beaten by Juliana Buena), Sinnoh (1st, beating Buena), Variko (8th, beating Drake, but losing to the tough Regi Whitestone), and trying Hoenn again (1st, beating Amario). The ratio of wins to losses was 1:1, both winning and losing roughly the same amount of battles, their rivalry thick with tension. Then, they went separate ways as Kevin stayed in Hoenn, and Rio moved to his home country, Spain. He was not as successful there, as the trainers were fierce and tough. Juliana went seperate, trying to win a Grand Festival with all of her heart. Juliana and Kevin have not seen each other since. In Hoenn, Kevin remembered his research from 11 years ago and finally got cracking. He explored every area of Sinnoh, the mountains, the seas, the deserts, everywhere. He discovered lots and filed it onto his Camera or sound recorder.

When he was 23, he took a break from exploring and went to Mossdeep City to relax on the beach. Then, a woman about his age took a seat next to him. The woman was Leah Aborene. The two found many common interests. Leah became the first friend Kevin had had in a while. Then, the two boosted it up a level. They dated for two years, then married. He forgot all about his exploration and spent those next two years with her.

Now he is 27. He sees a familiar face out the window. "Hola, Kevin. Come here. Let's go." "Rio," he said. Kevin went out to see him. Rio and Kevin battled. The battle lasted almost a day. It was a very close battle, but Kevin ended up winning. Then, this big, fat, brown haired guy drags Rio toward Slateport. The man brought him on a boat. The boat looked excellent and fancy. "What am I doing here?"

Nickname: Mighty
Appearance: He looks like a normal looking Mightyena, but has a big scar on his forehead.
Personality: Mightyena is a fierce Pokemon. In battle, at least. While not in battle, Mightyena is a very friendly Pokemon. He is casual and calm. He rarely gets angry. He's not shy. A little too unshy. He even greets the enemy with warmth.
History: Look up to Kevin's history.
Moveset: Crunch, Dig, Facade, Rest

Species: Armaldo
Nickname: History
Appearance: Armaldo is darker blue than your normal Armaldo.
Personality: Armaldo sets high expectations for himself. If he doesn't meet them, he tries again. A very determined prehistoric Pokemon he is. He is always working his but off.
History: When he was on his expedition, Kevin found a fossil. He collected it and regenerated it so he could find out more about the creature.

Species: Infernape
Nickname: Mercury
Appearance: Infernape has a red scar going through the middle of his body. Other than that, he looks like a regular Infernape.
Personality: Infernape is the top battler on Kevin's teams. He is agile, he has a great moveset, and throws a really mean Fire Punch. In expeditions, Mercury is very helpful as a spy for Kevin. He is really nasty, however, outside of battles and expeditions. He is really mean to his team members, and is a grand bragger.
History: This guy was obtained as a Chimchar. He was found at Stark Mountain, surrounded by Camerupt, Weezing, and McCargo. Kevin fought them off with his Espeon and Floatzel (not on Kevin's team currently, but in PC system). Then, Chimchar jumped into one of his PokeBalls, later to become the awesome of Kevin's team, aside from Espeon.

Nickname: Forest
Appearance: This tropius is mainly light green. He also has 3 palm leaves instead of two on his edge.
Personality: Tropius is really lazy, but generous. He dislikes battling, but has many bannanas that he offers to Kevin and company.
History: In Hoenn, Tropius was met. This was on his first year in Hoenn. He was met on that rainy route, what was it now, 118?

Appearance: Espeon is a shiny.
Personality: Lumina is very quiet and reserved, except in battling. She loves to battle and is the second best Pokemon on the team.
History: A rich man was walking past Kevin in Sinnoh. Then, rich dude recognized that he won the Sinnoh league and led him to the mansion on Route 212. He saw an Eevee in his Trophy in his garden and informed Kevin. A silver Eevee was obtained.

Name: Kevin Ray Billiards

Gender: Male

Age: 27

Appearance: Billiards is a very tall man, standing at 6'7". A fan of grass types he is, so Kevin has his hair dyed green, and the parts look like the leaves of the palm tree. He is granted with innocent sky blue eyes, and a young looking mouth. His build is on the skinny side, around 140 pounds, low for his height. His body is shaded in between medium brown and pale, though he paints it a dark brown. It isn't really all that muscular.

Billiards wears long rectangular reading glasses when reading, observing or studying. For all other occasions, he either wears no glasses or a pair of shades. Also, his face has coconuts painted upon it. It is warm in his home area, which would be near Mt. Chimney. That is why his attire is very light. His usual attire is a thin, brown, short sleeve shirt, and dark brown pants. His shoes are, you guessed it, brown as well.

Personality: Kevin is a very shy person, keeping to himself most of the time. He mostly journeys alone. He becomes very timid when faced with social situations or interviews, etc. He has very few friends as a result of this. Much of Kevin's time is spent exploring and discovering. Hoenn is the region of mythology, and Billiards is not being stopped from learning of how the region was created. Though shy socially, he is not shy in challenging the laws of science or new frontiers.

Patience is a good quality that Kevin has. He rarely gets mad. He can put up with any annoying person. He just ignores the annoyance. However, his disorganization makes many laugh at him. His discoveries are scattered around the house, making it hard for him and his wife, Leah Arobene Billiards, to live in peace. Kevin tries to remain peaceful by singing or playing the clarinet, or training his Pokemon. He is very good at those things. He is also quite bad at sewing, art, technology, woodshop, cooking, sports, and socializing.

History: Kevin was originally a very social kid. He was awesome in school and music, earned top grades and honors, and had a brilliant social life, with 7 close friends, mostly boys, there were two girls. His family, he, two siblings and two parents, were also doing grandly. However, when Kevin turned 9, he was embarrassed in front of his whole school. Kevin was making his "Moving Up" speech when the villainous Jordan "Black Vengeance" Daronius, a 10 year old, told the school who he liked, which was a kid named Juliana Buena, one of his close friends. Kevin looked like he was about to kill Jordan. Billiards sprinted after him, but Jordan was the best athlete in the school. However, both got caught by the principal. They both ended up staying after school, but still got promotion to middle level school. Juliana saw Kevin and Jordan walking out the door as she did her daily bike ride. Juliana parked her bike in the bike rack, walked east to the school, and said to Jordan, "What the crud was that about?" then went over to Billiards. Kevin was scared. But, Juliana said that it was OK. Turned out Juliana liked Billiards as well. Then, after they talked and arranged plans for the night, he was dropped home by Juliana. He continued to be shy toward others, but became natures best friend.

At about 10, Kevin became an explorer. He wanted to find out about nature and the creation of Hoenn. He studied on the computer, since he was restricted by his parents, unable to leave Rustboro, the legends, species of Pokemon, plants found in Hoenn, etc. He was finally able to go out on his own at the age of 15, after finishing Level 10 of school. He met Juliana while going to get a starter. "Hey, Kevin!" she shouted as she rode her high-tech bike into Oldale Town. "Juliana! What's going on?" Kevin said. It turned out that she wanted to become a Pokemon Ranger and Coordinator. So, the two of them journeyed together. Kevin ended up obtaining a Poochyena as his starter. It was injured after being battled by a young novice trainer. So, Poochyena was taken to the Pokemon center. The two enjoyed a wonderful journey together.

Kevin was a good trainer, but all good trainers have to have a rival, and Kevin had a rival that was a real loudmouth. His rival was Drake Ainoze (ayN-ohs-ey). Drake was a great trainer, from Sootopolis City. His starter was a Marill, who defeated Poochyena. Three more times they met, Kevin coming victorious the final time. The gyms that gave Kevin trouble were the first, third, fourth, and sixth. The trainers in the league had a tough time against him, as he got 8th place in the league. In Johto, Kevin got in 4th. His opponent that beat him was Rio Amario, a great, fierce fifth year trainer who went on to win the league. Rio and Kevin met a lot during Kanto (3rd, beaten by Juliana Buena), Sinnoh (1st, beating Buena), Variko (8th, beating Drake, but losing to the tough Regi Whitestone), and trying Hoenn again (1st, beating Amario). The ratio of wins to losses was 1:1, both winning and losing roughly the same amount of battles, their rivalry thick with tension. Then, they went separate ways as Kevin stayed in Hoenn, and Rio moved to his home country, Spain. He was not as successful there, as the trainers were fierce and tough. Juliana went seperate, trying to win a Grand Festival with all of her heart. Juliana and Kevin have not seen each other since. In Hoenn, Kevin remembered his research from 11 years ago and finally got cracking. He explored every area of Sinnoh, the mountains, the seas, the deserts, everywhere. He discovered lots and filed it onto his Camera or sound recorder.

When he was 23, he took a break from exploring and went to Mossdeep City to relax on the beach. Then, a woman about his age took a seat next to him. The woman was Leah Aborene. The two found many common interests. Leah became the first friend Kevin had had in a while. Then, the two boosted it up a level. They dated for two years, then married. He forgot all about his exploration and spent those next two years with her.

Now he is 27. He sees a familiar face out the window. "Hola, Kevin. Come here. Let's go." "Rio," he said. Kevin went out to see him. Rio and Kevin battled. The battle lasted almost a day. It was a very close battle, but Kevin ended up winning. Then, this big, fat, brown haired guy drags Rio toward Slateport. The man brought him on a boat. The boat looked excellent and fancy. "What am I doing here?"

Appearance: He looks like a normal looking Mightyena, but has a big scar on his forehead.
Personality: Mightyena is a fierce Pokemon. In battle, at least. While not in battle, Mightyena is a very friendly Pokemon. He is casual and calm. He rarely gets angry. He's not shy. A little too unshy. He even greets the enemy with warmth.
History: Look up to Kevin's history.

Appearance: Armaldo is darker blue than your normal Armaldo.
Personality: Armaldo sets high expectations for himself. If he doesn't meet them, he tries again. A very determined prehistoric Pokemon he is. He is always working his but off.
History: When he was on his expedition, Kevin found a fossil. He collected it and regenerated it so he could find out more about the creature.
