  • I know I should be donating for the community, not for the right I get, but I'm simply curious.
How much do you need to donate for tier 6 supporter?
I didn't see it on the donations page so I just wanted to know.

  • I swear, I never even heard of a tier 6 before... anything special? xD

But if there, I'll bet what Luck said is right. $100 is a good amount. xD

So far Gerri posted something about it here don't know if it's completely accurate but the profile picture is that limit I'm sure of.

Yeah it's $100. I'm Tier 5 and working my way to 6. I'm not sure what extra benefits there are but I believe you are allowed to have a bigger sig pic.

  • What tier do you have to be to get the Pokecommunity email? That sounds intersting. I am going to become tier five soon, but I was just wondering because it says it is something most tiers get.

O-o so what you're saying is you need to donate 100 bucks to be tier 6?

So that's why there aren't that much Tier 6's.

I never even knew it existed until a few days ago...

    I didn't know it existed until this thread. $100 = around £60 - £65 I think. That's a lot.

  • In case any of you were wondering, there are a total of 4 members in the history of the community who actually are tier 6, there are others who should be, but most are already higher staff and have way more perks anyway. If you want to know where Buoysel got that list of T6 perks, it's located here. (and as far as I've seen, of the four of us who have tier 6 I've only seen myself and Feign active)

You sure have a lot of money to throw away on pokemon forums.

  • I actually donate to many causes, I use my spare change that I collect over time to donate to things. I haven't donated to PC recently because there have been a few local charities that I felt needed the donation a little more.

  • I'm going to donate to become tier 5 soon, then I'll keep adding £5 of my pocket money to here and eventually become the third person you know, Gerri Shin who is active and tier 6. It is my ambition, along with several other donation ambitions, to donate enough to PC, and a little more every month, to become tier 6.

I'd definitely love to be more active in terms of PC though... I think it's cool for example that GS is helping with themes and such. :)

    There's a tier 6?? O_o

    But isn't $100 a bit extreme?
You'd sure have a lot of money to waste it on a supporter tier.
I'm planning to get tier 1, I'm defiantly NOT wasting it on that.

You're not donating to look cool. You're donating to help keep PC alive.
