If you were given to opportunity to choose from the following, what would you choose and why?

A: The power to move, delete, merge, lock, and hide threads in all boards. You also have the power to infract and ban all users on the forum. This means if you see a problem, you can solve it right then and there without relying on someone else to get on and handle the problem.
B: The ability to make community decisions. This includes your vote being supplied to chose moderators, remove moderators, create new rules, and being involved with forum decisions like merging them, etc. Ultimately, this means you have a voice that you know counts.
C: The ability to implement changes decided upon by Group B, but don't have a say or have the ability to access these discussion. You do, however, have access to the Administrator Control Panel in full. To make things interesting, you are exempt from the rules.

Can't I just take all three? I'd much rather be a dictator. I guess if I can't be a dictator, maybe like a mini-dictator. I think they call them 'B's.

    I would go with B.
I would much rather want to help out the community in finding members suited for moderating forums, as I don't think I really have the responsibility to do so myself :/
However I think most people would go with A, as that's the one alot of people want :I

I'm not gonna choose A, since I already do that to an extent. I'll take B. I wanna make sure the right people are put/kept in the forums that they belong in.

Probably A. The rules are pretty good as they are so I don't see how I could help with B, and with C I would be fine moderating based on the rules but not implementing them - being the face behind the rule - if I didn't have a say in what changes occurred.

And especially A after you added that part at the end.

Sooo hard. ;__; I love moderating so I'd go with that, buuuut, the second option would be awesome. Ugh I go with moderation, aka A because I get bored easily.

If I went with option C then I would have access to Admin CP which means I could edit my forum permissions to any forum including the ones the discussions are taking place in. I could also add moderator permission thus I would have all three. And since I am exempt from the rules then what is stopping me from conversing members?

So basically A is a moderator, B is higher staff and C is an admin. Only with taking away the little contact most of the higher staff have?

I'd have to say A, I dont like the sound of having the responsibility of making decisions on behalf of such a big community and I wouldn't want to be able to come online just to be pushing buttons all day. And that rule thing. Most of the rules here are just common sense. It'd be rare if I ever slipped up and broke one of them.
Plus I wouldn't even think of taking up B and C if it meant I couldn't speak to the members. I've made such good friends here and I expect to make more.

Well you see. I would be A. Although the C thing that Kenshin did...

A by far. The technical bits of modding is really fun for me, and honestly out of all the duties listed it's what I do best. It's also pretty much what I do now, except on a forum-wide level, which I've done before and did pretty well. I think. :s
I enjoyed discussing and making decisions about the forum as a whole (especially about modding people), but these days I just don't have any good ideas for PC, so I think I'd be wasted if B was all I did.
C is definitely not a choice for me, as I don't know how to run the full Admin CP. I can kind of BS my way around but when it comes to the coding aspects I don't know anything. Therefore I'd be useless there too.

I had A and B in the past, as some of you may recall, and B was far more rewarding than A. Leadership is always going to be more fulfilling than standard mod grunt work, although A was always a great source of pride because you're a guardian, peacemaker, and custodian all in one. Standard moderation work is essential to the security of PC, while decision-making is essential to its livelihood and future. They're really inseparable.

C is a bit of an odd bird, as those with power are more beholden to the rules than anyone, so it's a bit of a contradiction for someone to have Admin CP access with being above the law as an added perk. If by "implementing changes" you're referring to site design and other technical aspects I see little wrong with not being privy to the discussions that result in change (from the looks of it you're tech support first and a mod second, after all), but if these changes reach beyond the technical and into changes in rules and whatnot, it's sufficient for existing mods to lead by example. The implementation position would best be limited to tech-related changes, and thus limited to that would also not be forced into a position where they must enforce new rules without being privy to how new rules come to be or how they are justified.

I would choose "A" because I know for some odd reason my voice will not be enough for choose B and plus with "A" I can ban trolls that are founded on this website from time to time.

This. I'd have to go with C, so then I could make myself a moderator, and basically get A & B.

I was thinking A the whole time even before you added the clause at the end. :P

I knew someone would pull that!

    ...You can't do that. 8D

Since the clause at the end seemed to sway a lot of people to vote for A, I'm removing that!! Now everyone can have contact with anyone.

I guess I'd choose A, even if I don't want any of these choices...
B sounds too hard to make all these decisions, and C is boring, because the Admin CP isn't that exciting honestly if you've seen it before. Especially if all you can do is make changes.
