Ladies & Gentlemen, welcome to PC's version of one of the most popular Reality Shows on Television - Survivor ^^.
So what are the Rules of the game, how do you Register, who's in-charge of decision making, what Prizes does the winner merit, all explained in detail below.
The Rules might seem like a lot, but its necessary to make you completely aware of how the game's gonna progress. I've taken care to explain everything very clearly. And don't worry, as the game goes on I'll explain the Rules with each Step :).
So what are the Rules of the game, how do you Register, who's in-charge of decision making, what Prizes does the winner merit, all explained in detail below.
The Rules might seem like a lot, but its necessary to make you completely aware of how the game's gonna progress. I've taken care to explain everything very clearly. And don't worry, as the game goes on I'll explain the Rules with each Step :).
OBJECTIVE OF THE GAME
1. The objective of the game is to Outwit/Outplay/Outlast all other Players & Win the game (obviously :P).
2. This game will have Questions/Challenges (all Pokemon related), which the Teams/Individuals will participate in & try to win, to survive in the game (all will be explained in the Rules below).
3. After every round losing Teams/Individuals will face Elimination (i.e. be at risk of being out of the game), which will be done via Voting in Tribal Council (to be explained below).
4. The eventual Winner will be chosen by Voting at the Final Tribal Council (to be explained below) & will earn themselves the Title of PC's First Ever - SOLE SURVIVOR.
ELITE PANEL
1. There will be an Elite Panel consisting of Me (LegendChu), Meadow & Lycanthropy, who'll be overseeing the game to make sure its conducted smoothly.
2. I'll mostly be in-charge of putting up Questions/Challenges for Team/Individual Immunities & Hidden Immunity Idols (all of that explained in the Rules below), while Meadow & Lycanthropy will mostly be there to make sure all Rules (PC Rules & also Rules of this Game) are followed.
3. The decisions of the Elite Panel will be final & abiding.
GENERAL RULES
1. Before anything else, all Global Pokecommunity Rules apply here as well.
2. This Event will require u to be reasonably active on PC, so please be ready for that.
3. When you register, you gotta choose ONE POKEMON TYPE you're gonna represent & you'll be alloted a Tribe accordingly.
4. A Pokemon Type can be chosen ONLY ONCE, on a first-come-first-served basis, for e.g. if a User has already chosen to represent "Electric" Type, another user CANNOT choose to represent it.
5. A total of 18 Players (one representing each Pokemon Type), will be selected, who'll be divided into three Tribes, consisting of 6 Tribe Members each. Tribes have complete freedom to choose a Tribe name for themselves (would be good if its Pokemon related), which they need to post on this Thread.
6. There's a Registration Form at the end of this Post, just fill that & you'll be ready to go. Before that, read all other Rules to follow, very carefully.
7. There might be a few twists & turns every now & then to make the game more interesting, for e.g...... na na na I'm not gonna tell you all that, you'll know when I spring up a surprise, so be fully prepared for that ;).
TEAM IMMUNITY RULES
Immunity means that you'll be safe from being Eliminated from the game. Since you'll be playing as a Team initially, if all Team members of a Tribe, manage to answer the questions I put up, the whole team will be safe from being eliminated. The purpose of these questions isn't to test your knowledge (coz the questions are gonna be reallllyyyy easy), but your ability to work as a team & how quick you are to put up the answers. The unsafe Teams will have to face Elimination via Tribal Council (which will be explained a bit later).
Here are the detailed Rules:-
1. I'll put up a very very easy question, Pokemon-related or Forum-related (for e.g. what is Pikachu's number on the National Pokedex). There won't be a time limit to answer it, but please take care not to take more than a day to get the answers in. If not, I might be forced to introduce a time limit, so the game doesn't stall.
2. The answers have to be posted on this Thread, I repeat THE ANSWERS HAVE TO POSTED ON THIS THREAD.
3. Every Member of Each Tribe has to answer these questions individually, i.e. you cannot answer for someone else.
4. The First tribe, WHOSE ALL SIX MEMBERS get the answer right & post it here FIRST, wins TEAM IMMUNITY & all of them would be safe from Elimination for that round (this is for the first round only).
5. Once ELIMINATIONS start, ALL REMAINING MEMBERS of EVERY TRIBE have to get the answers right & post them here, for e.g., if Tribe 1 has six members remaining, while Tribes 2 & 3 have say four members each remaining, ALL SIX MEMBERS of Tribe 1 HAVE TO ANSWER correctly, but for Tribe 2 & 3, ALL FOUR MEMBERS have to get the answer right.
6. Its your duty as a Tribe, to get all members to post their answers.
7. Only ONE TRIBE gets Team Immunity. Both other Tribes have to face TRIBAL COUNCIL.
8. If NONE of the TRIBES has ALL SURVIVING MEMBERS answering correctly, then ALL THREE TEAMS will have to face TRIBAL COUNCIL.
THE MERGE
1. A MERGE is when Tribes cease to exist & all remaining members of all Tribes come together as one Tribe. It can happen any time (I'll decide that ;)) & will ONLY HAPPEN ONCE, so plan accordingly.
2. Again, as with the initial Tribes, you have the right to choose a Tribe name for the single Tribe (keeping it Pokemon Related would be good).
3. After the Merge it'll be every man/lady for themselves, i.e. instead of playing as a Team, you'll be Playing as individuals.
INDIVIDUAL IMMUNITY RULES
After the MERGE, you will be playing as individuals, to WIN The Game. This time instead of questions, there will be Challenges. Each Challenge will be explained in detail, when its put up. The first person who successfully completes the challenge, will win Individual Immunity & will be safe from Elimination. The unsafe members will have to face Tribal Council (which will be explained a bit later).
Here are the detailed Rules:-
1. Every member will have to fulfill a particular challenge to merit themselves an INDIVIDUAL IMMUNITY & thus be safe from Elimination for that Round.
2. The Rules for every Challenge will be explained in detail, when it is put up, so make sure you read them properly.
3. Since you're playing for Individual Immunity, only THE FIRST MEMBER to get the answer right, will win INDIVIDUAL IMMUNITY. All others will face TRIBAL COUNCIL.
HIDDEN IMMUNITY IDOLS
A HIDDEN IMMUNITY IDOL (This is NOT INDIVIDUAL IMMNUITY, mind you) is different from Team & Individual Immunities, in the sense that only the person(s) who wins it will have knowledge about it. These "IDOLS" will be given to 1-4 Members, privately via PMs. Whoever merits these IDOLS, have complete freedom whether he/she wants to share the fact that they have it, with other members or not. The holder of these IDOLS can use them any time BEFORE VOTES ARE CAST, so they are safe from Elimination for that Round i.e. NO ONE CAN VOTE AGAINST ANYONE WHO PLAYS THE IDOL.
Remember these IDOLS will be handed out (any time) BEFORE THE MERGE & will be valid for the REST OF THE GAME, so its upto you to decide the right time to play it.
Here are detailed Rules on how to Win them & How to us them:-
1. I'll put up a set of common questions, Pokemon-related or Forum-related, to give a chance to every Member to win a Hidden Immunity Idol. These will be a bit more difficult than Team & Individual Immunity questions/challenges.
2. To merit yourself a Hidden Immunity Idol, you need to PM the right answers to EVERY question, to ME (i.e. LegendChu). I repeat, YOU'VE GOT TO "PM" THE ANSWER, NOT POST IT HERE, so take care of that, or you'll just end up helping others out :P.
3. This will be on first-come-first-served basis. The first few people to get ALL the answers right (I'll decide how many Idols I want to give out, it'll be anywhere between 1-4), will win themselves INDIVIDUAL HIDDEN IMMUNITY IDOLS. You will be notified of the same via PM.
4. These IDOLS will be unique pics, which the winners have to make sure they retain with them & use them when they feel appropriate.
5. Once you win a HIDDEN IMMUNITY IDOL, its upto you, whether you want to keep it a secret or not, when you want to play it etc.
6. UNLIKE the original SURVIVOR Game, this IDOL CANNOT BE PASSED on to another Member. You can play this ONLY for YOURSELF.
7. The HIDDEN IMMUNITY IDOL has to be played, BEFORE VOTES ARE READ. I'll give a specific time limit, within which you have to play the IMMUNITY IDOL, or it won't be counted.
8. To play a HIDDEN IMMUNITY IDOL, you gotta say "I'LL PLAY MY HIDDEN IMMUNITY IDOL" & post the unique pic that has been sent to you via PM.
9. Once a MEMBER plays their HIDDEN IMMUNITY IDOL, you CANNOT VOTE against them, i.e. they CANNOT be Eliminated for that round.
10. After all IMMUNITY IDOLS have been used up, I'll put up the next question to win more IMMUNITY IDOLS.
11. If after an IMMUNITY IDOL is played by a Member & you don't see a question come up, that means more MEMBERS still have HIDDEN IMMUNITY IDOLS with them, so plan accordingly.
12. The HIDDEN IMMUNITY IDOL has to be played BEFORE the PENULTIMATE TRIBAL COUNCIL (i.e. until the 3rd last Tribal Council). After that, all IMMUNITY IDOLS will be INVALID.
TRIBAL COUNCIL RULES
All Members who DO NOT win Immunities (NOT HIDDEN IDOLS, I'm talking about Team/Individual Immunity), will have to Face TRIBAL COUNCIL, which basically means they will be at risk of being Eliminated from the game. You can use PMs/VMs to strategize whom they want to vote out.
Here are the detailed Rules:-
1. Before the actual TRIBAL COUNCIL & after the Team/Individual Immunity Events, the losing teams/individuals be given some time to strategize, to work out who you want to vote out. You can do this via PMs/VMs to each other, Posting on this Thread or any way you like.
2. UNLIKE the original SURVIVOR GAME, these are gonna be OPEN VOTES, which means, YOU HAVE TO CAST YOUR VOTES ON THIS THREAD. Again, there'll be no time limit, but make sure this doesn't take more than a day or I might have to introduce a time limit.
3. In case of a TIE, we'll have RE-VOTE, where you can only VOTE for THE MEMBERS, who are part of the TIED VOTES (I'd request you to avoid this, as it'll only take up more time).
4. If its still a TIE, after the RE-VOTE, I'll be left with no choice, but to ELIMINATE ALL MEMBERS who are part of the TIED VOTES. This will be ideal as repeated re-voting will waste too much time.
5. All ELIMINATED MEMBERS however, will be given one more chance to get back into the GAME, via a WILD CARD ROUND (which will happen just after the Merge). It'll be explained in just a bit.
WILD CARD ROUND
1. The Wild Card Round will happen immediately after the MERGE (see above).
2. ALL ELIMINATED MEMBERS will be asked a common question(s) (just like for Hidden Immunity Idols), which they have to answer by sending a PM to ME (i.e. LegendChu). The First Two Members to answer correctly, will be back in the Game & still have a chance to win it.
3. All those members who don't get the answers right or don't send it on time, become JURY MEMBERS (will be explained in just a bit), who will decide the eventual winner.
JURY MEMBERS
Jury Members will form the MOST IMPORTANT part of the game, as they will be the ones who'll decide the winner of SURVIVOR PC.
Here's how you become a Jury Member & your Role as a Jury Members:-
1. After the Wild Card Round (see above), every Member who doesn't get back into the game, will become a JURY MEMBER, which means EVERY ELIMINATED MEMBER will be part of the JURY & will eventually DECIDE WHO WINS SURVIVOR POKECOMMUNITY.
2. JURY MEMBERS who are eliminated in the Wild Card Round, will be informed when its time for the FINAL TRIBAL COUNCIL (Final Tribal Council will be explained in a bit), so they can participate & register their Votes. That'll be their ONLY ROLE further in the Game, unless they're told otherwise.
3. Everyone who gets Eliminated AFTER the MERGE, will also become JURY MEMBERS. These are the ONLY Members, who will be allowed to Post on the Thread, as they'll have another Role to play, which they'll be informed of, when its time for that.
4. At the FINAL TRIBAL COUNCIL, each one of the JURY MEMBER will Vote for their Favourite FINALIST, who they want to see as the winner of SURVIVOR PC.
FINAL TRIBAL COUNCIL
Alright, so you finally made it to the FINAL TRIBAL COUNCIL. This time people will NOT be VOTING AGAINST you, but FOR YOU TO WIN THE GAME. All FINALISTS will be given an opportunity to tell the JURY MEMBER, why they think they should win SURVIVOR PC. The Jury Members can then put forth questions to the FINALISTS, to help them decide to to Vote for.
You can use the Cross-questions as the perfect excuse to ask the Finalists for their stance on Fishing Rods or Haley's Comet or the Wushu Finger or.... okay, okay just kidding :P. Please keep the questions related to the game, anything off-topic will be taken off immediately. And NO Personal Attacks on anyone please, just because they voted you out -_-.
All JURY MEMBERS will also be given some time to discuss among themselves, who they want to see as the WINNER.
1. At the Final Tribal Council, all surviving MEMBERS will get a chance to put forward their case to the JURY, as to why they should VOTE for them.
2. The JURY MEMBERS will get a chance to cross question any of the FINALISTS, on anything they want to, so as to help them decide who they want to VOTE for. The surviving MEMBERS have to "Quote" the Questions posted by the Jury & answer however they like. But remember they are the ones who'll decide your fate, so plan your answers accordingly. There will be a specific time limit for that.
3. Once this process is over, the JURY MEMBERS will then VOTE for whom they want to be given the TITLE OF SOLE SURVIVOR (they'll be given some time to discuss among themselves, which again can be done via PM/VM or discussing on this Thread.
4. This time, the VOTES have to be sent to ME (LegendChu) via PM & have to be made WITHIN A SPECIFIC TIME PERIOD. Any Votes cast after that, will be declared INVALID.
5. If the need be, The ELITE PANEL, will also be Voting.
6. The MEMBER who gets the MOST VOTES, will be crowned PC's first ever - SOLE SURVIVOR.
7. In Case of a TIE (JURY MEMBERS are requested to not let such a situation happen), the Votes of the ELITE PANEL, will be counted as DOUBLE VOTES.
8. If its still a TIE, there'll be a RE-VOTE.
9. If its a TIE yet again, either of two things will happen:-
a. ALL FINALISTS who are part of the TIE will be declared JOINT WINNERS.
b. ONLY The ELITE PANEL will step in & VOTE to decide the WINNER.
