Necrozmium Treasure Hunt

    Okay, so the final 24 hour event for the Ultra Necrozmium Z. The idea is basically that we'll put a message behind a cipher and scatter the letters for the decode word around different threads on PC. To find the letters people will need to solve riddles that we'll release throughout the day with each riddle leading to one of the letters needed to decode the message. The first group to decipher the message wins the Necrozmium.

    Does that work for everyone?

    I was going to do something really sentimental or something but trolly is an option.

    As for the riddles, how hard should they be and how many of them there will be? I have several of them and some are harder that the others and some fits more for the whole word that just letter.

    Solvable but not easy. It should encourage people to work as a team. The number of riddles will correspond to the decode word we choose, I figure something relevant but not super obvious like Together or Tribal or something. I'm up for suggestions.

    Tribe or Tribal have good amount of letters imho. Together is too long.

    One of the riddles could be hiding one letter somewhere in one of the kahuna's profile here on PC, other adding "special" role named with another letter on discord and adding it to all kahunas. These two are more like an egg hunt and everyone can search for them.

    Harder riddle: Make QR code containing another letter, convert it to sequence of 1 (for black pixels) and 0 (for white pixels) and post that sequence here with a clue saying something about Necrozma stealing light from the 1st world.

    Medium hard riddle could work around Caesar cipher.

    I was thinking we'd probably use a vigenere cipher for the final thing since I know a lot of people are familiar with those. I like the idea of hiding one of the letters on a Kahuna profile,not sure how hard the QR thing would be.

    Tribal as the decode word works for me.

    Janp's idea plus one of mine. We need more :')
    Also I'll rearrange the letters after so it's not too easy to guess the word.

    Oh that's not quite how I meant.
    Don't cipher every letter, the letters are the keys to solving a cipher. There will be a message ciphered with the word TRIBAL.
    The idea is finding the letters so you can solve the cipher.

    Next puzzles (if they can be called that):
    Send one right and one wrong letter to 2 people from each Tribe. For example, I would send A to one person from Fini and K to one person from Bulu and GP would send A to the same Bulu person and K to the same Fini person.

    Let's use Facebook/Twitter and post one letter there.

    That first one sounds like fun, let's do that. Let's make it two wrong letters though.
    That second one is also good!

    I = Hidden on a Kahunas profile. "Find your first clue in a Kahunas house."
    B = Send one correct letter to one person of each tribe and one false letter to two people in each tribe. Require that the tribes work out which is the correct letter. No riddle needed.
    A = Hidden in my name on Discord. "There's too much in the pie and it's led to chaos."
    R = Share the letter openly on the Twitter. "A little bird told me this letter, maybe if you find it, it can tell you."
    T = Let's place this in Anime & Mangas splash. "You're all being very animated. We're glad that this GT has been such a splash."
    L = Hidden in the first post of the GT intro thread. "The end is at the beginning."

    There, that's all of them done and the word scrambled so it isn't obvious. We should release one clue every two hours starting at 12am EST. That should take us right to the end of GT. I changed the discord names one to just my own, not for an ego trip, it's just going to be easier than trying coordinate because we don't seem to have the ability to change names there.
