Yeah, that's how some people are actually. This wasn't nowadays either, it's always been like this for some people.

It's usually with small jokes, I don't think I would feel proud for actually ruining lives or making a person depressed.

Eh, it's still not something I think one should actually say they like. I can understand if you're joking with someone who knows it, but there are people who just hate any sort of abrasive behavior like that.

Meh. I guess I just think people should have a modicum of tact.

But I see it a LOT more nowadays. Like 4 years ago it wasn't even this bad. Maybe I'm just getting old and doing all the "Damn these youngins nowadays" thing..
but.. it's a serious observation I'm noticing.

Plus lots of kids are brats these days.
